shitidiot Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 Just got a copy of Friends-20/20 and can't take it out of the cd player. on "Friends" tracks like little bird, diamond head, transcendental meditation, make me really see how crazy america was in 1968. "20/20" is great start to finsh. Bluebirds Over The Mountain, All i want to do, Cabinessence. just wanted to say, yes the beach boy are a bit cheese but they rule. they were one of the band that formed the type of music we lisson to today. if you have not given them a lisson then do. e
dieseldoug Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 I wholeheartedly agree. Hey Shitidiot you're not such an idiot after all!!!
hamilton Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 If you like that stuff, run - don't walk - to the store and get yourself a copy of "Pet Sounds". Give that a "lisson" - you'll love it...
ersh Posted August 22, 2003 Report Posted August 22, 2003 Even better.... pick up the "Holland/Carl and the Passions - So Tough" double cd. Extra members Blondie Chaplin and Ricky Fataar make the boys all the better. "THE BEACH BOYS in concert" is a GREAT live album showcasing that part of their 1972 and 1973 tours as well. "Sunflower/Surf's Up" is fantastic as well.
