bradm
Another Tuesday, another Jammer Tuesdaze at Cafe Dekcuf. It'll be all the usual festivities: full-on improvisational music, unknown lineups, surprise guests (which could include you, if you play something or sing and come out), refreshing beverages, no cover charge, and tons of fun. But tonight, there's an added bonus: our esteemed leader, Aljee, is on vacation for two weeks in Newfoundland (where, it's rumoured, he's taking part in a cultural music program as part of an advanced music project to see how well jammy music can incorporate traditional sea chanteys from the Maritimes), so Serge and Frank have volunteered (or been co-opted; take your pick) to take over (under?) the hosting duties. Will the new power structure (one hesitates to use words like "junta"...) engender a new musical dynamic and take us to unimagined heights, or will it be the chaos one usually associates with a revolutionary takeover? We don't know! Be the first on your block to find out, by showing up and getting down. Usual logistics are in effect: 221 Rideau (between Dalhousie and Cumberland), upstairs. Start time between 9:30pm and 10:00pm, end time whenever Bryan shuts off the P.A. Aloha, Brad
