Just got this e-mail:

quote:

Hello all,

If anyone is looking for something to do tonight, The Creaking Tree String Quartet will be at the Cadillac Lounge, like every other Tuesday night.

Unlike every other Tuesday night, tonight there will be filming for a ducumentary film about acoustic music.

Come out and make us look popular.

Thanks.

(pass it on)

There's a drum circle in Trinity Bellwoods park, between qween and Dundas, West of Bathurst. It starts at sundown and goes till the cops come at around 12-1. It's been growing all summer long. Bjork is playing tonight on Toronto Island, DMB is at the amp tommorrow and Niel Young plays at the ACC on ThursdY NITE.

Maybe I'll see you drumming!

Paul Macleod will be playing tomorrow night (Wednesday, Sept. 3rd) at C'est What (67 Front St. E, Toronto).

Paul is an excellent singer/songwriter who hails from the K-W region. Charismatic and talented, he rocks in that poetic way. He plays the first Wednesday of every month at C'est What.

From his bio:

"Paul MacLeod is a songwriter. His 2 independent recordings, Tell The Band To Go Home and Close and Play, have received nothing but laudatory reviews. Paul will tell you this is because of the songs. The Skydiggers and Martin Tielli will tell you otherwise. They have both included Paul in their illustrious careers for his musical talents and live performance. Paul will tell you this is because of his love of cocktails and that he is, generally, a "good hang". Paul MacLeod. Great songs. Good Hang."

You can hear him here if you like.
