Mango
My partner and I want to go away somewhere nice but not to expensive. We thought about Collingwood and/or Niagra falls but we are looking for something a little more intimate (not a B&B)with cool things to do. thanks ahead of time. Jaimoe
Try Port Hope. At least four good restaurants and a good night life for a small town with the best rated heritage main street in Ontario. It's also is the unofficial antique capital. Port Hope is famous for their excellent variety of B&B's, but the town also has a high class inn with an upscale restaurant.Or, try Picton. It has wineries that rival Niagra (but in a much smaller scale) and the town is really nice and home to a world renowned chef school... thus the food in the area is fantastic. SaggyBalls
I would suggest going somewhere along the Rideau Waterway. You'd be close to nature, able to find great little restaurants and would be close enough to Ottawa to go to a show and stay in a hotel for a swanky night.Try Merrickville, Perth, or Ottawa for that matter. LXQ42
You can do a niagra wine tasting weekend...it is a B and B, but you go to about 5 different wineries in the 2 days
