guigsy
this shit blows my mind...Cop Sues Family of Nearly Drowned Baby long story short: baby falls in pool, almost drowns, leaves a puddle while being rescued, cop slips in puddle, fucks up knee, now seeking compensation.Eichhorn, he said, is a victim. Her knee aches, and she will likely develop arthritis. If the Cosmillos had made their pool baby-proof, police would not have been called to the scene, there would have been no water on the floor, and Eichhorn would not have hurt herself, he said.meanwhile, the baby has severe brain damage, cant walk, talk or swallow.i hope this cop gets hit by a bus on the way to the courtroom. phishtaper
when i saw the post, i assumed she was suing their insurance company, as is all too normal in the US and that this was simply a legal maneuver. that may still be the case, but her lawyer's comments are beyond insensitive. wow. un-frikin-believable. kookycanooky
Jebus...what do you suppose happens now? (aside from the discusting lawsuit). The baby has been on life-support for a month with no signs of coherence...Do they pull the plug? Would there be a huge fuss over that decision? Who's in charge? This is the saddest dilema i've ever heard about.
