Priceline users?

No this isn't a topic on how do I use it, no worries.

For anyone who does use this site, they have added a pretty cool feature to the Name Your Own Price Hotel portion of the site: A winners board!

Now you can search by city and it will let you know what bids were successful for each city on that particular day. It takes some of the guesswork, and random message board searching out of the equation.

I've always found it helpful. They teach you some of the "tricks" for getting multiple bids too.

LOL ... priceline rocks. I just used it last week to get a room in Buffalo after the Phil show. $50 at the Adam's Mark was a pretty sweet deal.

Yes, but my luck with priceline has been much better. Over the past 4 years I have booked at least 20 rooms with priceline, never paying more than about $65 USD. And now with the exchange almost equal it is an even better deal!

You have to log in to your account. The biggest problem is that the recent winners list has no date range. For a better idea, check out BetterBidding.com's Calendar of wins, which relies on input from winners, but can let you know wins on specific dates.

did you like that place, Kev? we normally book in at the Hyatt, but we had a room booked at Adam's Mark the night moe. was snowed out and they closed buffalo. priceline refunded the money. good times.

Yeah, we liked the Adam's Mark much better than the Hyatt (stayed there at least 4 or 5 times). Mind you, the Hyatt usually gets the bands and you can run into some of them while you're there .

anyway, fyi i just bid 55 and got the delta chelsea (for the neil shows)...and it's super close to massey hall and not even that far from the orbit room so we're all set!
