timouse
that article is hilarious. the right wing blowhards bitch about obama's "rock star" status, then they perpetuate it by endlessly name-dropping as they talk about who came to support him. zero
That was an oddly pro-Dead pro-left wing article for Foxnews.

Big Wooly Mammoth
Grateful Dead to regroup for Obama benefit at Penn StateBy Sam WoodINQUIRER STAFF WRITERThe surviving members of the Grateful Dead have confirmed they will regroup to play at least one concert to benefit Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. The band - without legendary guitarist Jerry Garcia who died in 1995 - will perform Oct. 13 at the Bryce Jordan Center at the Penn State campus in State College, Pa.The Allman Brothers Band is also on the bill.It will be the first time since 2004 that Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann and Micky Hart have played together.Guitarist Warren Haynes and keyboard player Jeff Chimenti will fill out the sound, according to a report in Relix, a music magazine long aligned with the Dead.A spring tour could be in the works if the reunion performance goes well. (I was hoping for the show to be in Pittsburgh as a friend works for the Mellon Arena. Would have been a good excuse to visit.)
