AD
tsn is talking about lecavalier to montreal for plekanec, higgins, gorges, subban, 2 first round picks and more......

badams
I've also heard that if the Habs throw in Booche Tampa Bay will send Stamkos as well.
Booche
The Lighting would absolutely have to be sending back a dman back if AD's trade offer is accurate. If anything, Les Brahs have needed some help on the back end. I cant see them giving up a rock like Gorges with nothing in return. He has been the unsung hero this season. AD
it's not my trade offer, it's just what i heard on tsn
Booche
Oh I understand. There had been a couple of different scenarios suggested yesterday by Darren Dreger as well but I wanted to comment specifically on the one you posted.
AD
a tip of the hat to you, then.
badams
I agree with Booche... the Habs would need a D man back. In fact they were heavily shopping Halak for a D just before Price was hurt. They have since quieted down on that front.
Booche
Yeah, they quieted down because Halak has trouble controlling rebounds and looks like a giant fraidy cat out there! All that being said, I cant see that deal (or any for Vinny for that matter) going through for so many reasons. Booche
Boston looked and played really well tonight. They know their roles.
SmoothedShredder
Don't hurt your ankle jumping off the bandwagon. Though I can hardly blame you... I'd also like to cheer for a team that has a chance at actually winning the Stanley Cup this year too.
Booche
I dont get it. Time to put the bong down now.
peipunk
The timing (Habs hot streak, Boston on top of the standings) made it feel like a big game. A big game I REALLY wish we would have won.
badams
Boston is playing very well right now but I doubt any Habs fan is going to jump off the band wagon. We leave that to the pseudo hockey fans (Some Leaf / Sens fans). We still have an excellent team and are weathering a bunch of injuries at this point. Lets see how the Bruins react now that they are accumulating some injuries themselves...it's a long season still...
Tissue Man
Good Game i thought.. Thomas stood on his head, boston got the bounces and the big call, 5 minutes for that? bs, but what can you do..Halak looked great and the game could have easily went the other way.GO HABS GO! SmoothedShredder
I dont get it. Time to put the bong down now.Clearly... Let me spell it out for you: you're team really isn't that good. Though I'd find it hard to believe you'd but your bong down... Montreal fans got to set fire to something to stay happy.

Though I'd find it hard to believe you'd but your bong down... Montreal fans got to set fire to something to stay happy. Saucy!!! But I think when Booche said "I don't get it" he was asking what in his post implied that he would jump off the bandwagon(a compliment to an opponent hardly suggests that). You seem to be going off on some random unprovoked rant, a sure sign of a butt-hurt fan of another shitty team. (this is one of my very few attempts to participate in "trash talk", I am not very good at it so please don't crucify me.... )

Though I'd find it hard to believe you'd but your bong down... Montreal fans got to set fire to something to stay happy.I would say they are doing pretty good for a team missing Koivu, Tanguay, Higgins and Price. The regular season is to get ready for the playoffs. We'll see how things go then. No team is guaranteed anything. As it is now the Habs are tied for 5th overall in the league with points. That's not too bad for a team you consider "not that good". I'll take that for now and then see what happens in the playoffs.
