Booche
Even worse than those jerseys is having to listen to PJ Stock's opinions. Jebas, I cant stand that guy. He is a moron.
Booche
This is absolutely crushing news: Making matters worse for the Habs was the loss of centre Robert Lang, who could be out for the season with a cut Achilles tendon.
Guest Low Roller
fuckfuckfuckfuck. He was our only consistent player all season, and most reliable centerman... We are now well and truly fucked.Alex Henry? Have we really depleted the Bulldogs to the point where we need to call up Alex f'n Henry??? I bet Pavel Valentenko is feeling kinda remorseful for bolting for Russia, given that he would have been the most likely candidate for a defensive tough-guy call-up.So with Lang out, that leaves us with Begin or Chipchura to be the 4th centerman... Or we can call-up Yannick "Who?" Lehoux from Hamilton who is the leading scorer for the Bulldogs.Plex better pick up his game stat.
Booche
He was our only consistent player all seasonMVP Markov would like to know which team you have been watching this season. And the only way you are going to see Pleks pick up his game is if Kovalev does so he can pad those stats.
Guest Low Roller
If you remember correctly Markov had a bit of a rough patch early on in the season, but yes, my statement is debatable given Markov's performance. Still, FUCK!
Booche
And Lang hasnt shown any inconsistency? Its obvious that he practised his shooting into soccer nets based on the amount of wide open nets he missed in the first 3rd of the season. His goal totals could be double what they are right now.You dont watch them play. Its obvious. Markov has easily been their best player.Still, fuck! Jaimoe
Do you guys think this Lang news will impel Gainey pull the trigger on a trade?
MrBigTime
Those pyjamas were nasty... Lang was our only consistently "quite good" player (not "fucking awesome" though)... Markov is a guy we've come to expect perfection from, and he hasn't been, but has been very solid back there overall... Horrible clearing of our end has to stop, how many times has a weak clearence in our end turned into a goal against lately... 1 second left in the period!! Where's that friendly hometown scorekeeping when you need it

Kanada Kev
At least it's not as if the Leafs or the Sens are gonna do well this year LOL .. The Leafs are exceeding expectations this year! Not to say they're doing great, but they're better
Booche
Do you guys think this Lang news will impel Gainey pull the trigger on a trade? Gainey is obviously a conservative GM and knows the vultures are circling. My bet is that he will do what the other GM's are about to do for the next month, keep a closer eye towards the team on the ice and determine whether or not it is worth it.Les Brahs have had a number of injuries this season and he hasnt done anything yet but this team is going to live and die with Price, as any Hab fan knows. If he is back to form than Gainey may want to make a move at or near the deadline but he could use a d-man first.
Booche
Great showing by Les Brahs last night in a game that was obviously needed to be played in order to keep the peace amongst Hab fans. Carbo's strategy to have the D screaming in from the point to try and maintain pucks in the offensive zone during the first period? Awesome. badams
My strategy was to listen to Booche talk over the phone about Carbo's strategy... It worked out well for all of us.

Booche
Guillaume Latendresse will be out of the lineup for 4-6 weeks. That's probably a good thing. I still dont have any clue why the media is seemingly so high on this guy, strictly based on his play.
MrBigTime
I rarely hear that from the media about him, other than stating that he has not lived up to potential... He definately has not...TurtlePleks was great last night too...
Guest Low Roller
[color:purple]But he's French Canadian! He therefore must be awesome. But seriously, the French media will freak when the Habs don't re-sign Latendresse, Begin, Dandenault, Bouillion, Tanguay, and Brisebois for next season. Tee hee. SmoothedShredder
You just threw half your team under the bus! I'll take your "But Seriously" to mean your serious.Awesome...Is Kovalev up for contract renewal? I honestly don't know or care, but if he's not... he's done for the season. So the Habs dreams of Stanley. But we all already knew that right? Enjoy the long ride to the middle of the pack.Golf Sens Golf!!!
Guest Low Roller
The point I was making was that they are all French Canadian players that will likely be replaced on the roster next year by younger, cheaper players in order to save cap space for Price and Komisarek who are up for massive new contracts. We're still miles ahead of any other Canadian team, and will continue to be so for many more years.
