How was the show?

It was pretty good, albeit pretty short (The Hotel Lobbyists played about a 35-minute set, Micarza Camaro played about 30 minutes, The Pack A.D. played about 40 minutes; I think the show was over before midnight), and there weren't that many people there. I'd like to see The Pack A.D. again in a more packed venue, as they gave off a really firey raw energy (backed up with some nicely written songs) that unfortunately kind of dissipated without anyone there to absorb it. (It was also the first time I'd been at Mavericks since about mid-March, and they've done some things to the place, like take out the benches along the wall where the sound booth is, and shorten the bar by about 1/3 or 1/2.)
