Basher
From antsmarching.com:Fenway seems to be the place for concerts this year. After the Dave Matthews Band plays two nights at the famed Boston baseball stadium, antsmarching.org has learned that Phish will perform right after those shows, May 31, according to a source familiar with the scheduling at Fenway. Expect an official announcement as soon as March 31.So how does this effect you, the average DMB fan? Well, the bands do have a great history of performing together. The first show was back in 1994, where DMB was opening for Phish, and joined them for a few songs. And later that same year, the full-bands joined together again for an epic jam and a great version of The Maker. This doesn't mean that the two bands will meet again, but this is probably the best chance of it happening in about 10 or 15 years. So if you're interested in checking out both bands (maybe even together?), this will be a great opportunity.
wavinginthewind
So much for Trey saying they would never play stadiums.
Basher
They played Keyspan Park in Brooklyn. Technically, that's a stadium. As is the soccer stadium they are playing in Chicago. The concert capacity will be something like 20-30k at Fenway. This is nothing like playing a football stadium with 80k. Northern Wish
And of course Fenway is a historical landmark that any band would be honored to play...... Especially for four guys who cut their baby teeth in the Boston market.

Hartamophone
I don't go out of my way to see DMB anymore, but to pull all three of these shows would make for a pretty memorable weekend. Too bad I'll still be out West at the end of May (Gorge'd).Here's another "source," and probably the closest thing to official confirmation at this point.
