Harlan Ellison documentary on TVO tonight

If there are any fans of American writer Harlan Ellison, TVOntario will be airing Dreams With Sharp Teeth, a documentary about him, tonight (Sunday, June 7) at 9pm.

Perhaps not surprisingly I watched this doc. I tend to watch a ton of docs and often on people I have little or no familiarity with. Not a big sci fi reader or familiar at all with Ellison but found his outsized megamaniacal persona perhaps not surprisingly fascinating.

I think Neil Gaiman described him best when he said he is one part one of the most important American writers of this century (debatable) part impish 11 year old part Cranky Old Jew.
