Guest Low Roller
Hey Roller. The Avalanche just waived Cedrick Desjardins. Whats that? He wasnt with the Lighting? I seem to recall you werent too pleased when MTL traded their only NHL goalie prospect but he doesnt seem to be catching on anywhere. Yeah, actually I'm quite surprised that he didn't stick with the Lightning given that it was under Boucher that he was an all-star in AHL. Oh well. He's no longer in the Habs organization, so fuck 'im.
Guest Low Roller
Habs sign 2010 1st round pick Jarred Tinordi to three year entry level contract starting 2012-2013. He is currently out of action with an eye injury stemming from a fight.Tinordi becomes the 50th player under contract with the Habs, the maximum allowed by any organization. The rumour going around was that the Habs were negotiating a contract with Brendan Gallagher's agent, so this one comes as a surprise as Gallagher will not be able to sign a contract until the Habs jettison a contract. Guest Low Roller
Paul Mara getting signed in 4...3...2...EDIT: Fun fact- There were 65 players at camp this year. Nobody took Mara's #22, so technically that number is still available and waiting for him.
Guest Low Roller
The Habs currently have $24.3M worth in injuries right now. That's 37% of the total allowable cap space this season. Add to that Plekanec getting banged up the last couple of games, and Subban playing with a bum shoulder, and we got ourselves quite the calamity right now.EDIT: Spacek and Gill to miss at least the next two games. Kostitsyn is officially on the IR. Squid back tonight.EDIT: Only ONE defenceman will have played more than 100 games in the NHL for tonight's game. Booche
Clearly, Scott Gomez does not belong on this team. I love the puck possession the Habs employ whenever he isnt in the lineup. How about that Cammy-Gionta-PleckAKnicks line? They are great at pinning the opposing team in their own end. And Desharnais? The sky's the limit with that guy. Edited November 26, 2011 by Guest

Guest Low Roller
The Millionaires Club (Gionta/Plex/Cammalleri) line was awful last night. Thank God that the Habs signed Cole in the off-season otherwise this year would have been quite long. The winning goal? Total bs, but the Habs should played the whistle and not assume that the play was dead.
