Velvet
So the show was two hours long?
jaybone
About 2 hours. I didn't really keep track or notice what time it was when we left.If you get there a half hour before it starts, you should have plenty of time to grab beers and get sorted before show time. peipunk
I am heading to Halifax shortly for the show tonight. Pumped!About 2 hours. That Prince Vault link to the set list said the show was 190 minutes?

bouche
there's no way that first setlist was pulled off in 2 hours. maybe the second night with only one encore. Jaybone was at both shows and maybe night 2's drunkipoos erased an hour from night 1.
jaybone
Did you mean "Jaybone time" like "Hammer time"?Either way, I like it!Have fun at the show Punk and same to everyone going to the Ottawa show.
DevO
I think Jaybone's talking about night 2. Not sure how long it was but I'd guess 2.5 hours tops. They turned off all the lights after he left the stage, then flashed the purple perimeter stage lights on & off a few times over the next 10 min while the crowd cheered (thinking this meant another encore), but that was it. A guy came out and announced that after party instead. Great show though!! Despite the lame old man behind me yelling whining and at me to sit down. Velvet
...the lame old man behind me yelling whining and at me to sit down. My new standard is to scan the immediate area for a security guard, turn around and suggest if the person has a problem with me standing they talk to security about it, and I helpfully point out the security person to them. Unless the person is a biker, in which case I sit down.

Cosmic ChrisC
hoping for info tomorrow. looks like an after party is in the works for Montreal tonight.http://twitter.com/DJRASHIDADoes Prince play at those after parties, or is it just some of his musicians? Or is this just a way for bars to get people to line up for no reason at all?
Cosmic ChrisC
did anyone opt-in, or even call for service prices?Just me and Ollie. And maybe a guy at my work and his two friends. AD
The last after-party in Ottawa was his full band, Maceo, Larry Graham playing at Olliver's at Carleton for 4 hours straight. After the 3-hour show at the NAC. No idea about this tour but I'd expect it's the same. Anyone know for sure?

All he's got left is a Cadillac Escalade which can SQUEEZE in 6. It's pretty pricey but not outrageous...$362 with taxes, gratuity and parking. It was a fun idea. Limos are cool, but a waste of money.http://www.robinsonlimo.com/rates.aspx Edited December 2, 2011 by Guest

Velvet
I recently saw a deal on one of those Kahoot/Groupon things that was a huge stretch limo for half price, $200 I think. Interested parties might want to check some of those kind of websites and see if the deal is still up.
