secondtube Posted February 17, 2003 Report Posted February 17, 2003 Billy Preston. Billy Prestons funky version from his greatest hits collection is quite good. Trey turns it nasty. I love it.
Tooly Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 i liked seeing deisel dog do it in waterloo,, the singer can really belt it out good plus with jonas youve got the sax fills great tune
kung Posted February 18, 2003 Report Posted February 18, 2003 Yep Billy 'the fifth Beatle' Preston. In addition to playing on several signal Beatles cuts (Let It Be), Billy currently tours with Clapton, has had tons of drug problems, believe he was charged with arson for burning down his own house. More recently he had more problems, tax evasion? I saw him play with the Band in '89 at the Ontario Place Forum - Stan 'the Great Man' Szelest died right before that tour and Billy replaced him. Apparently Stan did not have a drug problem as Barney Hoskins attested in his book on the Band. Too much information. Passenger plays a great version as well.
shainhouse Posted February 18, 2003 Author Report Posted February 18, 2003 nice, thanks for the info- cool stuff
