  1. Blue Grassy High - Oven Cake

Total bullshit. I don't know how you can justify that pap being in your top 10 list.

    Here's my list:

    1. Grateful Dead- Workingman's Dead

    2. Jeff Beck- Jeff Beck's Guitar Shop

    3. Phish- Round Room

    4. Genesis- A Trick of The Tail

    5. Roxy Music- Avalon

    6. KISS- Alive

    7. Aerosmith- Pump

    8. Bon Jovi- New Jersey

    9. Skid Row- Skid Row

    10. Depeche Mode- People Are People

  2. Dick Cheney insists on link between Al Qaeda and Kevin Bacon. Al Qaeda was trained by the CIA which was created by Harry Truman who dropped the bomb which was conceived by the Manhattan Project which was a movie starring John Lithgow who was in Footloose with Kevin Bacon.

God only knows what other horrors Kevin Bacon can be associated with...

  3. When you're on the highway, and you've got nowhere to go, boredom will set in.

Slowly people will climb out of their cars, slowly the chatter will begin:

    "Who's got my heady football?"

"Anybody want to trade some Grateful Dead?"

    "Anybody know what's going on?"

"Who would be so inclined as to give me head?"

It's not everyday that someone can brag that on the 401 they managed to play.

But last week while driving towards K-town, it happened so therefore I can say:

    "fu©k it sucked!"

  4. "He's already part of the culture; he has left the planet. This is the story of his return."

Sounds like they are taking the concept of "The Dark Knight Returns" and are transposing it onto Superman. Although this plot has been done several times (most recently in The Incredibles), I am anxiously awaiting this film.

But before Superman comes out in theatres, let's not forget about this guy:

  5. I have a sh!t disturbing fact for today. I heard this mentioned at 40 Main recently, but I haven't seen it in print on this board so here goes:

Ween looks EXACTLY like Tears For Fears.

    Judge for yourselves:

Which one is which? I can't tell.

  6. I was peering through the window at 40 Main last night watching all you fine skanks getting down to the music, and then this guy walks up to the stereo, turns off the music, replaces it with dead air, and then something worse than dead air.

Is this guy the Stapes you speak of?

  7. Is it Christmas already? What have we done to deserve a two part Heady Epic post? I'd gladly take a lump of coal over that lump of crap.

Last I heard of that guy he was loitering outside a convenience store trying to buy some convenience.

  8. Ok, I'm no expert in IP, but I've been around it long enough to know a thing or two. This punk guy probably had a copyright on the stage name Manitoba, whereas the dj did not, therefore the punk guy has every right to punk him out (bad pun, sorry) through legal means. Similarly I'm sure if Ottawa's Dr.Huxtable ever got big enough they would quickly hear from CBS' lawyers for copyright infringement.

To play chain reaction with Microsoft related lawsuits, Microsoft succesfully sued some independant company for releasing a Linux-based Windows emulator by the name of (get this) Lindows. The company was forced to change the name of the product, which they did to L!ndows (the exclamation is not a typo). Microsoft sued them again because the name still resembled Windows too much, so the company changed L!ndows to simply ! .

You see kiddies, IP makes the world go round if you own its rights. If you don't and you try to use it in full or in part, prepare to be sued.

  9. If that were the case then I wasn't the only one that misinterpreted what you said. You came into this thread guns blazing, and now it seems like you're trying to change the tone of your initial posts.
