I'd like to be the first to offer up some info for that study Meg. My beard is merely utilitarian. I start growing it labour day weekend, shave it all off and go bald face after may 24. It keeps my face warmer in the winter, then cooler in the summer. That's all there is to it.

I have to agree with Low Roller, listen to those two albums. I especially like The Moon and Antarctica.
Modest Mouse definately is not a band for the masses. The first time I listened to them I wasn't really impressed, but they have kind of grown on me over the course of a few rotations in the cd player. I find it's the lyrics that I dig more than anything else.

Four more years!
No more queers!
Does anybody else feel that it was a little underhanded to add gay marriage to the ballot in an attempt to get the religious right out to vote in larger numbers?
Apparently it worked out for them.

I would recommend the Dark Tower series by Stephen King, as well as The Talisman.
On the book topic, anybody have suggestions on books about leadership?

So the deal, according to CNN, as of 02:22 est. The way that election laws work in the state of Ohio is any provisional ballots(ballots from voters who were challenged about their legitimacy to vote, people who had problems with the original ballots) are to be verified, then counted 11 days after the election. In addition, any mail in ballots that are post marked on or before the date of the election still need to be counted. These would be the votes from United States citizen's who are living or travelling outside of the US, including soldiers. The mail in ballots are given 10 days to arrive to the state of Ohio.
The reason that this is coming into play is because there are approximately 150,000 to 250,000 mail in and provisional ballots that still need to be counted. Unless the difference in votes between Bush and Kerry exceeds that number, the Democatic party will not conceed the election.
To top all of it off, the Iowa polls have stopped reporting due to fatigue and equipment failures. Currently according to CNN, Bush has 149 electoral votes vs. Kerry's 142. At last count Bush was leading Iowa before they stopped counting.
Everybody spell it with me O-H-I-O. No Ohio, no presidency.

Just remember that zyban is an antidepressant, that may have some unwelcomed side effects. It's good to hear that you aren't experiencing these Velvet. I've used Zyban two times to try to quit smoking, both times it was helping, with a year in between the two attempts, both times cutting the program short because of the side effects. What I experienced was a lot, and I mean a lot of sleepless nights. A good night was getting 1 to 2 hours sleep. I was never concious of tired I was getting, but I definetly was on the verge of exhaustion after the first month. I don't know if it was the lack of sleep, or the way the drugs affected my brain, or a combination of both, but it got to a point where I had no control what so ever my emotions. I'd venture to say that for a short time while I was on Zyban that I could have been classified as manic depressive. Huge mood swings at the drop of a hat, and it would take absolutly nothing to make me actually just break down and cry. It happened both times I've taken the stuff, so my personal opinion is that Zyban is bad mojo. I don't think anybody wants to curl up in a ball and start crying because a character in a movie you are watching just got killed. It's not a very pleasant feeling.

-coffee travel mug, probably smells like wine, stainless steel, black handle, no logos, plain silver sticker covering up a mcmaster university logo, but that is not apparent.
Did you loose that at the Labour Day CTMF?

First debate goes tonight. I think that Kerry will be able to out debate Bush, but I don't know if that will make a difference in the long run.
Bush has his catch phrases that his followers love to hear. "They hate us for our freedom", "The evil doers will be caught". It seems the best way to win anything these days is to have a catch phrase that you can just repeat over and over again, less chance of ever saying the wrong thing. Just wait until he starts quoting "reality" TV, looks over at Kerry, makes his monkey face and says "You're Fired!" His fans will go crazy for that $h!t

I got a step counter in my box of Vector this morning. So far I've taken 1708 steps today.

Hey, another master control op! So I'm not the only one that does virtually nothing all day? Phew, here I was thinking it was a bad work ethic.

Aromabear, how's it haging, sorry I've been such a ghost lately.
Anyway, I just wanted to help you with the sale here. The house is huge with plenty of space for your own privacy with some of the coolest people in all of Toronto. If I didn't already have the plans I do, I'd take you up on the offer.
