Well its sad but true...
After three years in the Edmonton music scene, and 70 concerts sprawling AB, BC and SASK Funk Lotion Promotion is closing its doors. But not before one more BIG party to send us off in style. Thats right, on FRIDAY JAN. 19, at the SIDETRACK CAFE (10238-104st.) please come join Funk Lotion Promotion one last show. THE GRASSROOT DEVIATION is headlining with very special guests RED RAM!

Just wanted to let you know that Sonic 102.9's Nov. Band of the month, RED RAM (featuring two members of The Uncas) are holding their CD release party on SAT. NOV 11 at the STARLITE ROOM (10030-102 st.). Special guests THE FABULOUS BEEFEDERS and the CASANOVA PLAYBOYS are opening up the show. Hey everyone,
Just a quick note to let you know that The Grassroot Deviation is going to be at the Canmore Hotel on Fri. November 3 and then back in Calgary for the first time in about 7 months on Saturday November 4 at a hip little joint called the Soda (211-12ave SW).
Hope to see some folks soon. The GRD hasn't been on the road Since the end of August so it'll be great to get back out there.

Due to unforseen renovation circumstances The Sidetrack has had to cancel its opening indefinitly.
THE GRASSROOT DEVIATION CD release party has been moved to the STARLITE ROOM (10030-102st). It is still on FRIDAY MARCH 24 and it still NO COVER. Special Guests BIG RIVER are still going to open up the show. Hope to see some jam fans 'cause it is still going to be one hell of a night!
