    Hey Folks,

    In the budding spring time JSB heads to Ontario for 3 great shows. The band is promoting their album Weight of the World, released in November of 2006. You can listen to the album as well as check out the video for Turnaround @ myspace.com/tjsb

    After this JSB heads to China to play The Maple Rhythm Festival.

    1.National Release of "Weight of the World"

    Tuesday, November 28, 2006. Contrary to the banner on this site, that's the date JSB's new release will hit store shelves through Outside Music. The 11-song album has been selling to fans through JSB shows for a month now to excellent response. Read fan reviews and hear album samples here: '>Weight of the World fan reviews

    2.Animated Video for "Turnaround"

    The lovely and talented Bradley Cayford of Copernicus Studios in Halifax has been pouring his soul into his animated video for the song "Turnaround." You may have seen Cayfords work with Nelly Furtado, Universal Soul, Spesh K and more. A beautiful artist with a perfectionist attitude best describes him. JSB play December 1 & 2 at The Attic - Halifax, NS - the video screens both nights. Watch The Jimmy Swift Band's website for the Muchmusic debute!

    3.Free music from keyboardist Aaron Collier

    New and old material from the electronic music artist is available online now and continuing until Dec 1st, 2006. The music is free to listen to and download and there exists a forum to talk about it. Again, feel free to bring the talk back to jambands.ca

  15. The JSB gathers momentum

    Coming back from an intense 3.5 week tour Central/Eastern Canada and a Canada Day concert in Hamilton, Bermuda, The Jimmy Swift Band show no signs of letting up for a long while. The Halifax quartet embark on a string of summer festival and club dates July through September. A long-time special event for TJSB has been the Evolve Festival in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. After taking a break from playing the festival last year, the band is excited to return to the Atlantic Canadian landmark event which hosts a few thousand JSB and Maritime band fans and showcases bands and DJs from around the globe.

    Music fans are not to miss out on seeing this explosive group as they gather momentum to release their new studio album in September.

    Yo - Orbit Room Mondays are def great! Dave will indeed be playing WITH JSB for some wild early week jams. Cool to note that there's a picture of Lauzon right next to this forum.... NO pics of JSB??!?

    JSB is looking for feedback of the selections for the new record. THey'll be playing all 14 tracks over the PA at 9pm and asking for feedback on what should make the cut - cast your vote!!
