  1. Current Swell is playing the Sanctuary Center for the Arts in Ridgeway (Niagara) on July 27th. If you saw these guys at bluesfest you know how great they are...If you didn't see them yet this is your chance. Tickets are $10, and the Waxbills as well as Nick Doneff are opening. Doors open at 7. Tickets are available at ticketscene.ca or by emailing brokenvanproductions@gmail.com

  2. I personally LOVED Drumz. Mickey's lack of fear of electronics makes for some very interesting events. Overall, the show was.....good. Not a lot of hi-lights for me, with the exception of Drumz, and Eyes. Stella was sweet too. The lot however..........absolutely disgusting. I was embarrassed to be associated with that. I'm going to make a t-shirt that says, " Leave so much garbage, that we can't see the footprints of those who left nothing but footprints." We don't own this place but we act as if we did............

  3. Here's a kind of embarrassing one. I did a radio competition once on a dare. The 12 winners got to drum on stage with Shania Twain. I won. Got to play my Djembe @ Copps in front of a sell out crowd. That was all cool, but Shania is freakishly short!! Like 4;11" or something. She's remarkably unattractive without her makeup, and her changeroom had a white plush carpet running into it, and smelled like roses. They converted the Bulldogs dressing room into a 5 star suite for this lady! Anyways, the funny part is, We were given stickies as opposed to laminated passes. This just wouldn't do, so 4 other winners and I went to the mall, and got them laminated. Then bought lanyards so we could wear the passes on our necks. ( I said it's an embarrassing story) We then went to that Burger place behind Swiss Chalet by Copps, where we told the cashier that we were shania's band. She comped our meals on the condition that we sign a placemat for her. If that girl is on here......sorry. My signature is worthless honey. :P

  4. I can't believe this news. I guess all I can say is, I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to have shared the stage with this man. What a guy! I only met him a few times, but he was so much fun to be around. I wept upon hearing the news of his passing. I know all of us in Rose Garland thought the world of him. Our prayers are with all who will miss him. Give Joanie a big hug for us please.

I wish you well on your journey Chairmouse.
