Insert>Field>Field Name: NumWords, Format: (none), Numeric format: 0, Preserve format during updates: checked.

Make sure to Right Click (on the field)>Update field, before printing.

Try using the "Clasic Media Player" (the one that comes with windows) to play the file. CBC streams are a pain sometimes, but I've had luck doing this.
