  1. It seems the Kittens are becoming known as a beer band. All those years of drinking are finally paying off.

[color:blue]Run With The Kittens will be playing for this years [color:blue]Toronto Beer Festival. Check out all the details about this great event HERE .

The band will be performing [color:blue]Friday, August 10th, at [color:blue]7:45pm on the main stage.

  2. If you enjoy live music and beer, here's a great way to enjoy both.

[color:blue]Run With The Kittens will be playing the 10th anniversary party of Cameron's Brewery, [color:blue]Saturday, July 28th. They've got a whiz-bang shin-dig planned. [color:blue]$10 gets you to and from the event, 2 pints of beer (additional pints $2.50), and a gauranteed awesome show from the Kittens.

A bus will be leaving the [color:blue]Cameron House (408 Queen Street West, just west of Spadina) in Toronto, at [color:blue]3 pm. The Kittens bus and the passenger bus will then convoy to the Cameron Brewery in Oakville. You'll be returned to the Cameron House for [color:blue]10 pm.

It's first come, first serve for seating on the bus, but reserve your tickets or get more info by contacting the band at rwtk@runwiththekittens.ca or through myspace at www.myspace.com/runwiththekittens

    Hope to see you out!

  3. I've known Adam for years (and Dr. Payne for that matter) from Barrie, our old stomping ground. A few years back, Adam GAVE me a beautiful mandolin-body acoustic-electric fretless bass guitar. I was absolutely floored!!! That bass gets so many looks, and recording engineers keep asking I bring it back for sessions. He's a wicked dude, doing wicked work.

  4. I've been playing Ashdown amps for about 7 years (ABM 500 with 4X8 and 1X15 cabs) and loved that for years. With almost 1000 gigs under it's belt, it finally started to die. Ashdown service isn't that great in Canada since they're a realatively new British company.

I just got an Ampeg B-200, and what a sound! Awesome built in D.I., and rated (way low) at 200 watts, this thing almost as loud and just as clear as my old 500 watt beast. And a third of the price, size and weight.

    my two cents

  5. I know most people either really love him or hate him, but what about Mike Patton? If you look how he's grown as a singer since the nasal Faith No More days, it'd be hard not to put him on a "top 10 current singers" list. If only for technical prowess.
