  1. Yeah The Weber Bros are a great band, good guys to hang out with too. We've played a few shows with them and its always a good time.

They apparently loved the Last Waltz so much, they sent a clip of themselves rehearsing in Maryland to Ronnie Hawkins, and he invited them all up for a jam. They never left.

  2. Any advice?

It may be too late' date=' but if you're planning on using your ATM card over there, check if foreign access is allowed on the account(s) you've got associated with it. (CIBC, for example, doesn't allow foreign access to the account you have tagged as the "savings" account, regardless of whether it's actually a savings account or not.) Make sure you have a photocopy of your passport with you, stored somewhere where your passport isn't, and leave a copy at home with a family member.

    And have fun!

    Aloha,

Thanks, I already photocopied the passport, I'll check about the bank card though!

As for dates, we have the ones listed above as well as a couple private shows. And then gonna hit up amsterdam just for fun.

    Cheers

  3. I listened to it today and thought it was a pretty good album. Catchy tunes. One tune I liked was "Shoop (A Loving Sound)." It had a neat 50's sock hop feel, with a modern touch but not in a Weezer way. As far as the kinda sounds like, sometimes a bit like The Black Crowes (great lead vocals) and quite often reminded me of that other Canadian "Kings" band, The Philosopher Kings.

    thanks man,

Yeah we were definitely going for the sock hop feel on that tune, but a little more fucked up
