GWB has a lot in common with Saruman, IMO (I hope the FBI doesn't read this and think I am part of the conspiracy to name Tolken books after terrorist targets. Actually, they probably don't realize that the movie is made after a book...)
Bush is most definately not a Hobbit, since the hobbits were trying to destroy the "ring to rule all rings". GW seems to me the kind of being that would want to crush the hobbits, get the ring, and rule forever.

Did the guy not realize that his name sounded like a famous musician? Sounds like a serious attitude problem, if he can't take a joke from a fan....

Hey Folks,
In case you didn't know, Dr. Huxtable and Highway Freeker (aka Bob Dylan Project) are playing at Cafe Dekcuf tommorow night (Thursday, December 19). The show will be a set blender, with Dr. Hux starting the night, and each band doing 2 sets.
We gonna build some holiday cheer! Will you be there?

Hey Phred,
Imaging MY surprise when I saw Tracy post that! You can see why I might feel a bit blue now...

Hey Phred,
When a girl doesn't return your email (or phone calls), it can only mean one thing...
Strikeout!

That would be hilarious! Bonus points for whoever can shake their booty like the great-one, play an air-keyboard, play a real drum, and dance madly, all at the same time...
C-U There Folks. We're gonna have fun tonight!

I too had the distinct pleasure of hearing them in my basement! What a drag that we double booked Friday...

Got my tickets for Ottawa - 5th row! I love these guys. You have to see them to believe it. Chris Squire is one of the most amazing bass players I've ever heard!

Actually, myself, and my brother both have Yes roots in our names:
Trevor - After Trevor Rabin
Me - After Chris Squire
If there were any female members, I'm sure that my dad would have named my sisters after them. Rumour has it that he named them after family members of the band, but I can't prove anything.
Still, you gotta see this band. They've been at it for years, and are not very mainstream, but they are simply incredible.

Who is that guy? What is he on?

cheech_chi is like a normal pot plant, but it runs on tapwater.
I would venture to say that cheech_chi runs much better on beer...

As you all know, I stand on the opposite side of the stage from Phred. Now you know why. It's hard to play with someone pinching my .... never mind.

I'd love to hear the Saturday show, if that can be arranged! Thanks for taping it, Brad.

It's more like chai-tea than tai-chi...

At the suggestion of some of my bandmates, Rouf is now Cheech-chi. I wonder why they call me Cheech?
See you tonight... and Saturday.

That life is too short to spend time absorbing negative info: watching the news, reading the paper, watching crime tv (law and order, cops), reading books about bad things (true crime). This is the time to shed negativity, denounce all of this hatred, and try to live a positive life.

Anyone remeber that song?
Anyways, thanks to everyone that came to Dekcuf last night. Sound's like a good time was had by all... That was my first set blender, and I definately enjoyed it. Highway Freeker is a tight and impressive band. I'd love to play with them again (next time with two bass amps and two drum kits...)
