Hey Chili, this is Nick from the late Jomomma. We used play with you guys way back in Ontario (C'est What, the Casbah). Where abouts in B.C. are you? I just moved to Vancouver.
(By the way Canned Beats, your dinner invitation is coming, I swear.)

Shakey from Contact.

Thanks BradM. What time does Dave Lauzon start on Friday? Maybe I can convince the lady to go on a little trip...
If only he had 'spammed' me. I could have been better prepared.

Could anyone tell me if there are any shows to check out in Montreal this weekend? Or, if not, a good site to find such info?

While boarding a flight in Chicago about a month and a half ago, I met Bruce Hornsby. I introduced myself and thanked him for the great tunes. During this exchange, it came up that I am Canadian. Then, this guy from Buffalo comes up to him and the conversation went like this:
(please recite the Buffalo guy's lines in a thick Tonowanda accent)
Buffalo guy: "Bruce Hornsby! I can't believe it! How the heck are ya?"
Bruce Hornsby: "I'm well, thank you."
Buffalo guy: "Ya know Bruce, I was at this party once when I was in college and you were there with some other musicians. And I'll tell ya, I was the only one who recognized Robbie ROBINSON!"
Bruce Hornsby: "I think you mean Robbie ROBERTSON."
Buffalo Guy: "Whatever."
Bruce Hornsby shot me a wink and we shared a great chuckle.
That's just the way it is.

Please vote liberal. As unfortunate as it is, we must vote OUT Harper, and realistically, only the liberal vote will accomplish this. We CANNOT let the PC's into power and i really do think a liberal vote can prevent such a thing.

fair enough. not really trying to convince anybody of anything.

I have seen 311 once and MMW tonnes of times. Loved them both and I think it's going to be an amazing show. It disappoints me to think that people on this board decide to show disapproval of a band without even hearing a note. It's even more disappointing when it's a band like 311.

Hey Steve-O, things are great. Beautiful city except they keep saying I am from 'Onterrible'. Ah well. Man, what a great time we had indeed. Maybe I'll take my ironing board over to Tofino and show those hippies how its done!
Anyway, hope to catch ya at a show over the holidays back in 'Onteribble'.
