"Nice, but has naughty lapses. High marks in the good deeds department. Better than average manners. Hopefully, thoughtfulness will continue to be as good as last month. Neatness needs improvement!"

Peter Gabriel is one of my favourite artists! I really wish I could have been there. I heard an interview with him - he was talking about his tour set designer - a guy from Quebec - Gabriel loves this guy and called Quebec (city) one of his fav places in North America!!
I would have given anything to hear him sing Mercy street again........

I don't remember my first nightmare but I sure remember a re-occurring one I had as a child. Seems really bizarre (and harmless) now but it terrified me then. I would enter an elevator and there sat an elderly women at a card table lined with red velvet, she wore a visor, much like a poker dealer. There was a lace table lamp on the table in front of her. The same thing happened everytime I had the dream. There was a button on the table which she asked me to remove. I couldn't move it. Couldn't budge it. Somehow it was related to me exiting the elevator. It wasn't happenning!! As a child I was terrified. I must have had this dream a million times. My mom's advice was to think of a comforting movie to put me to sleep. I always thought of Wizard of OZ!!! Comforting??? I think perhaps therapy is in order!!

Let's hope none of us do!!!

Save some for those that'll be arriving post 1 am!!!

article from MotherJones
---| From the Editor |-------------------------------------------
It may not be fair to contend that a majority of Americans
oppose war against Iraq, but recent polls have shown that
millions in the US are deeply ambivalent about the Bush
administration's pursuit of a war, and the preemptive military
doctrine on which that pursuit is built. So why haven't those
millions joined the nascent anti-war movement? Todd Gitlin
argues that the reason is found in the movement itself -- or
at least in its leadership.
Hope is on the way......

Don't kid yourself. Bush/Cheney/Rove/Rumsfield is an attempt at revolution. While Kerry is old school, he is at least (I hope) not a fundamentalist takeover! You bet "hope is on the way" - The world depends upon it :-)
