  1. I do have a loop station and some effects and there was a time that I wanted to put a little somethin' somethin' together. I didn't want to be the guy that saw someone else's good idea and look like a fool trying to have a good time with it!

However, there seems to be an open market now! So I may just do something about it!!!

That still sucks ass about DR. DIDG! I was helping with their tour to Southern Ontario and they were going to play at SOMEPLACE ELSE! Oh well! Not that I will ever be able to fill thoes shoes, but maybe I will pick up that tourch!

  2. Thank you evryone that came out to SOMEPLACE ELSE on Thursday for MERKEBA! They were a real treat! The crowd was great, the food was great and the music was... well, words can not describe the vibe when J. Jonas Berkely got up and blasted on his horn! The drumjams were fun filler and for those who were at the afterparty had a small surprise from the owner of the club!

    THANKS JOHN!!!

I hope to see everyone out for The Jimmy Swift Band on Jan 21st and NERO on the 31st

    We will have a blast!

Don't forget to come out to the Fatties tonight @ Pepper Jack's

  3. This is an email I recieved earlier this evening!

Sadly, after all the wonderful work you have done spreading the word about us up there, I have to tell you that I am taking an indefinite hiatus from touring after February. It has been pretty tough making a living on the road, and the economy is making it worse, so I am starting a full time job, getting back into physics research. I will be working at Massachusetts General Hospital / Harvard Medical School doing research into MRI and functional brain imaging. I wish we could have made it up your way, but things just haven't been working out in the music business.

  4. It's almost ten after four in the A.M. and I just wanted to let everyone know that it is totally worth it to spend the money and see this movie!

Mind you it is not quite as mind-blowing as the first, however it will impress you none the less!

    Cheers!

Pssst. Come see MERKEBA on Thursday @ "SOMEPLACE ELSE"...

  5. I figured this would happen!

Just to clerify for future referance, I do a solo act that I call The Jimi Didg Solo and most of my half hour act is with the aid of... you guessed it, a Didgeridoo!

You see, I love the didgeridoo, so I took it upon myself to try and book some shows for the band Dr. Didg in Southern Ontario so they could come spread the word up North. However, I am still waiting to hear back from their management in regards to the NERO/Dr.Didg show you speak of which is tentitively scheduled for March.

But come out to the other shows just the same! We could use all of your support!

So to answer your question... no relation!

    Cheers!
