Fuckin right MarcO!!!!!!!!!!!! That is going to be insane. I'm watching the Rust Never Sleeps DVD right now, its blowing my top off. Hate was just a legend. 2. ORIGINAL SLOTH BAND!

Forty years ago, in the hot, sleepy delta land of southern North York, Ontario, the Original Sloth Band began. They recorded three albums, toured across North America and appeared with Leon Redbone on “Saturday Night Live.†The core of the group is brothers Chris and Ken Whiteley and Tom Evans on a multitude of instruments, accompanied by Bucky Berger (drums) and Victor Bateman (string bass). The group’s unique blend of blues and jazz may soon be available on CD and DVD.

  4. Sounds like a blast! i'm going to have to get back to you in a couple days though. kevo and I are thinking of hitting up stereolab at the phoenix before the nero show in toronto on saturday...

  5. I've been reading about this stuff a lot lately for school. Bill C-36, the anti-terrorism act opens the door for things like this to happen in canada as well. Since the definition of `terrorism' and `terrorist activity' in the bill or so broad and vague protesting and work stoppages can be defined as terrorist acts because they

1)disrupt essential public or private services and

2)are committed in whole or in part for a political, religious or ideological purpose, objective or cause’ and `with the intention of intimidating the public, or a segment of the public, with regard to its security, including its economic security... etc, etc.

There are many ways in which this bill contradict civil liberties, but they are all argued to be justified by the need for increased security in the post 9/11 world.

I think all these new laws are unneccesary because it's not as if terrorism wasn't illegal before. anyways justm y $0.02
