DrFameus is an electronic music project created by the versatile drummer, Allen Aucoin. Allen explores many realms with DrFameus ranging from breakbeats to drum 'n' bass to dubstep to techno/house. It is his ability to survey the crowd and then improvise that has allowed Aucoin to play in such diverse projects over the years.

A night of funk and soul for the ages!!! We have two AMAZING funk bands to play for us into the night, and kicking it off with some tasty jazz from Dedushka to get the legs loose and the head looser.
SASSAFRAZ
SassafraZ is a super collection of six great guys who live their lives with the emphasis on the offbeat. They like to hang out and make big, loud sounds. All six really enjoy holding a groove, grooving out, grooving in, and just plain moving and grooving.
Started by multi-instrumentalists Jack Gould and Zach Pontzer in 2012, SassafraZ quickly took the midwest music scene by storm, playing shows with notable groups such as Snarky Puppy, Galactic, Papadosio, The Werks, Dopapod, and many more. The band released its first album “Time Will Tell” in 2013 and the follow up “Move Your Body” a year later in 2014.

Aqueous is no stranger to the Illumination family, we've had these guys up for 5 headlining shows as well as both nights at the Illumination Festival 2015 including an incredible RHCP cover set. Their current tour is taking them on the road with Papadosio, Dopapod, Broccoli Samurai and Pigeons Playing Ping-pong down to Aura Music Festival in Florida to play along side The Disco Biscuits, Snarky Puppy, The New Deal... and our most recent headliners, The Werks.

I haven't been upstairs at Dee's in ages. But you can't ask for a more intimate show. Kinda bummed we didn't get them on a Friday @ Remix lounge but definately go see them. Go early to check out Chartreuse as well!
