I just came out of a committee meeting where I had to stand in front of 4 profs. in genetics and describe my work as a Master's student in Biology here at McGill. At issue--whether or not I'll be able to finish up my degree by the end of the summer. Well, the meeting went great, and I have very little left to do to finish. Plus, my own supervisor is off for a month now. So, off I go as well! Yeeee-haw! It goes to show, you don't have to be an intelligent, sober individual to get by in molecular genetics. All it takes is a little luck and some people skill. Anyway, not to bore anyone, but here's my advice: Go outside! It's gorgeous! Find a patio, grab a beer and sit! God bless you all.
