Tuesday October 26th's "Blue Moon" Open Stage features a performance

from Northern Ontario alt-countryists THE NOVEMBER ALL-STARS.

Featuring members of OX, as well as THE FIFTY-MEN. They will take

the stage between 10pm & 11pm. No Cover charge.

EDGAR BREAU vs ELEVATOR?:

Check out today's Hamilton Spectator (Saturday) for a feature on

Edgar Breau. It's a great piece explaining much of his storied past.

If you are a fan of both the Simply Saucer songsmith & East-coast

psych-rockers ELEVATOR (I know there are many that share these

tastes) you will nicely be able to see both performances on Sunday October 24. Edgar is

scheduled to take the stage around 9pm, while Elevator takes the

stage shortly after 10:30pm at the Underground.

JOEY RAMONE'S BACKING BAND RETURNS:

THE INDEPENDENTS rock tonight (Saturday) at the Underground. It's a

late show with doors at 9:45pm. Opening for the horror-ska phenoms

will be THE MIDWAYS (from Toronto, garage-rock), SPOILED ROTTEN and

NON-PASSIVE RESISTANCE. The Independents are one of the best old

school punk rock groups to play the Underground in this promoter's

opinion. $8.00 admission.

SONS OF BUTCHER CD RELEASE PARTY:

This much-talked-about show is getting fancier and fancier. Not only

can you expect one of the greatest rock shows since Spinal Tap rocked

Milwaukee's brewery district in '81, but now expect clowns, stilt-

walkers, processed meat, jello-shooters, candy-stripers and DJ K-Way

spinning the finest cheese around. Check out View Weekly next week

CRYPTOPSY & HAYDEN TICKETS ARE MOVIN':

Montreal's Death-metal Maniacs have clearly been over-due for a show

in Hamilton. Tickets are flyin'. Pick 'em up while you can. $12.00

Hayden tickets went on sale yesterday shortly after lunch hour.
