\/\/illy Posted April 30, 2005 Report Share Posted April 30, 2005 For all you audio editing types out there. I have a huge .wav (that was recorded last night) and I've got it loaded into SoundForge. What's the best way to divide it up into 'tracks'? I can highlight the track and then cut and paste it but how do I make sure that when it's all played together it meshes perfectly? headygouda Posted April 30, 2005 Report Share Posted April 30, 2005 Use CD Wave:http://www.milosoftware.com/cdwave/download.htmlIts one of the only programs that will cut your .wav at sector boundaries so you don't get sector boundary errors. Place the track marks in with the 'split' function, and use the save function to write to individual tracks. Use SoundForge for editing out blips, introducing fades or normalizing. I did a serarch on 'splitting tracks' and such and came across it. It seems to be the perfect tool for the job! Thanks again for your response!
