I left in 2001 (right before Sept. 11th) and never went back. I was in Burlingame (glad you liked it Birdy), SF (yeah Potrero Hill), Alameda (life on the sailboat) and in Big Sur a lot. There really is no other place on earth like California. How long will you be there? Wavy Gravy used to have wicked parties in the fall at his farm in Laytonville. Definitely worth the drive. KarinGarage Posted June 30, 2005 Author Report Share Posted June 30, 2005 i'll be in cali for ten days. oh, and about the "christmas" party, unfortunately my mom planned a family function for that saturday so i won't be able to make it(boooo!). one of these days i'll get her to work around my summer concert schedule! so it looks like i won't make it back till labor day, but i'll try to make it before i go to california.
