Having just watched Bowling for Columbine again last week, I found this interesting...

Gun lobby scraps ad campaign in wake of Toronto shooting

... especially given the allegations (for what these are worth) that there was NRA money going into this campaign (personally, I'm not convinced Charleton Heston could find Canada on a map).

As an aside, one of the more revolting things I read in the Star after the shootings, amidst everything else, was that it apparently took shoppers a whole five minutes before they went back about their business. Boxing Day sales, you know, they can't wait .
