  1. I was lucky enough to spend some time with Jay, Dave and Chris back in April. After the Fanshawe college nooner gig, we did a short interview and photoshoot around the environs just North of London. It was something that I do for the sheer pleasure of freelance. The interview never really garnered too much interest, and was never published and the photos have been passed around and nothing ever really done with them, although I am sure people close to Velvet may have had the chance to see them. Reading the recent news that Nero is going on a break of undertermined length, I felt there may be some people in the community who enjoy seeing them. I know they still have there fall tour ahead, and I may be jumping the gun a little, but I just wanted to say thanks to Dave, Chris and Jay for there unforgetable style and unique jamming. Let's all get out a see them this fall!!!

Just click web page , go to performance page and click the Nero link.

  2. I just wanted to say that I was lucky enough to get some great seats to the show last night, and was treated to a fantastic time. Although I am by far a bigger Ben Harper fan, than Dave Matthews, I must say that now that I have seen Dave twice this year, the intensity of his shows far outway anything done in the studio. Although serious jamming is not his strong point, his powerful vocals and positive message put many smiles my way last night. Ben, of course, was brilliant, as always...even got to burn one down at the key time.. ;)My Morning Jacket, thumbs up!! Jurassic 5...not really my cup of tea, but the appearance of Neil was by far the highlight. He is as good now as he ever was, kicks ass as good, or better than performers half his age and remains a key element to todays scene...a true living legend!! You go Neil!!!!

  3. Just wanted to say thanks for all the good vibes. Scott, thanks for taking the time for the critical. It is much appreciated. I am aware about the pixilation on some of my portrait/wedding stuff. I did that in the infancy of my Photoshop experience. A little too much sharpen tool!! I plan on fixing that issue. As far as flatness, using a cheap scanner for my website is not the answer. I am in the market for an Epson4870, so that should be resolved. Great pics on your site...thanks again. Hope everyone is well and see you soon!! Peace!

  4. Just finished updating my webpage with some festival pictures and thought those out there who have the time may want to take a look. These are large high-res files, so if you are still dial-up I would save yourself the pain. To get the pics go to the stock/documentary page on my site and click festivals. I want to say that I am a regular lurker on this sight to find out about upcoming shows and tasty bits of news on the scene. I just wanted to say thanks for the constant info. I've met a couple of you at diferent shows and hopefully will meet more as time goes by...hey, if we're walking the same street, sooner or later we will bump into each other..that's a given! Again, these are not performance shots, so no Trey, Bob or Moe., but what they are, or more what I hope they portray is the heart of the family that lives and breaths live homegrown music.
