Judge approves lease agreement for ROTHBURY

GRAND RAPIDS — U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Scott W. Dales today approved a lease agreement between the bankruptcy trustee and the ROTHBURY festival promoter that should allow the event to happen this summer.

Some legal sticking points will be addressed at a bankruptcy court hearing on Thursday in Grand Rapids. And when they are resolved, festival promoters will discuss the 2009 event at the Double JJ Resort near Rothbury.

The festival is tentatively slated for Fourth of July weekend.

I saw them in philly a few years back and was totally unimpressed. IMO, there songs were boring as shit, the singer was not very good, their musicianship was uninspiring, and about the only good thing I remember from their set was when it ended.

I don't think they're very good at all and I can't understand why they have an audience.

I saw a bit of them at Rothbury and they were very boring. No one was there to see them and I understand why. The drummer was pretty good though. 1 out of 5 stars is generous.

Maybe you can get one of your buddies to dance around in short, cut-off, jean shorts and whisper sweet profundities into your microphone...

These books are a few years old now but great reads. The first is A Million Little Pieces and the second is the follow up, My Friend Leonard. They are written by James Frey and are semi-fiction. Both are very easy, and can't put down books. Seriously go for these Scotty!(and Becky)

I agree with djmelba on both accounts. Warrens voice is not so great and bouche is a dickhead.

The Phil show was definately my hihglight of the festival. They are super tight and totally blew me away. That Jackie Greene kid is a perfect fit.
