So you think I should look into this venue? Do you have the contact info for the booking agent?

Vanderpark has 6 people... is there a stage that could fit all of them?

Thanks for all the suggestions!
I'm going to look up all those suggested bars when I get home from work.
The Nero show should be awesome. They are playing in Ottawa on Nov. 5 I may try and check them out then.

Looking to book a show at an all ages venue... one that doesn't charge something crazy to have the show there.
Preferable if the Venue is in the Thornhill, Richmond Hill or Uptown area but downtown TO is fine as well.
Thanks for the help!

Hi Everyone,
Vanderpark is a Toronto based band looking to play some shows in Halifax February 18-21 of 2005. If anybody wants us to open up for you or can hook us up with a show that would be much appreciated.
We can get you to play with us in Toronto as an exchange if you'd like.
If you can help out, please send an e mail to leah@vanderpark.com
to hear some tracks, go to www.vanderpark.com live and studio tracks are available.
Thanks,

I would stay away for sure. About a year or so ago this guy I went to high school with kept telling me to come interview and was saying how great I'd be. So I go to meet him on a Saturday monring and there are a bunch of people like 19-21ish all in suits and there is loud music playing and they were all being pumped up and motivated. Then the interview was with the guy I knew from high school (because anyone can get hired there) and instead of asking me questions he is selling me on the company. It was very sketchy.
basically what it is is network level marketing which is like a legal pyramid scam. I wouldn't suggest working there.
hope this helps
