  2. Well after making about 20 some odd calls to people we had never met before, and being turned down an equal number of times (usually with a "man I'd love to, but I've already got plans/working/teaching/drying my hair tonight") We turned to roaming the hallowed halls of Ottawa U music faculty.... when that proved to be a fruitless venture we turned to wandering the streets. Eventually we found ourselves in Steve's music store (in the drum department no less) where we ran into a fella we had met at a party the night before. He had been playing guitar and jamming with friends for over 10 years, but had never played a gig. Well... we took a chance, and it went pretty well. NO one got hurt at least ;/ . .. except for belly bustin' from the awesome food.

    Until next time

....stay tuned to.. THE ADVENTURES OF FEVERMEN!

    P.S> who's rik emmett?

Where did you get that quote man?? I saw a similar (but shorter) quote on a tombstone once.. and have had "If you'reever confused listen to the music" as the signature on my emails for close to 5 years now.

  6. Recorded after the stint at Freddy's Harvest JazzandBlues. You might remember these guys as the guys that opened for THe Slip in Montreal.

The CD features their sax player and keyboardist as well as the the guitarist/bassist/drummer at the Slip show. Preorders are now open.. and the official release is slated for next Thursday.

For those of you who've never heard of Azuris check it out, there's some free music samples from the old demo, as well as a few live clips at..........

    yep.

  7. Our sax player will be back from his Germanland odessy for the show Saturday too! He wasn't there Slip-night, but he'll be ready to blow his ass off after six week hiatus.

Ahess and Jakis keep your eyes peeled cause we're in the mastering and printing stages of our first album.. should be ready by December!

Saturday'll be a blast it's been a while since we hit the stage with Vanderpark, and where better than Swimming on a Saturday? Let the festivities begin!

And I agree Dima.. percs man is to die for...

  8. I saw their DVD at my buddy's place not too long ago and it blew me away! The way those guys can play the shite that they play and still have it groove so hard... the whole audience was clapping along to some tune in some odd time signature I didn't bother to count.. let's be real, it's hard enough to get a crowd to clap together on the simplist of tunes. And how about that naked soundguy? anyone else see that?

  9. \("they needed a better drummer"), \

Are you kidding!?!?!?! Ringo was a fu©king awesome drummer! A "better" drummer would have ruined what the Beatles were going for. Really sit and listen to the drum parts (especially in the later stuff) and you'll notice how Ringo is a chameleon drummer his sound adapts to each song and he blends in perfectly with his surroundings. I'm not one for choosing favorite bands, but The Beatles are way up on the list... White Album baby!!!!
