Apparantly I have allowed myself to be talked into moving to Simcoe....and even stranger still I have accepted a job at a fancy restaurant in Port Dover....wow...that is all.

I'm not shocked that I am Miss Piggy

It is with great grief that I write these words. Today a dear friend of mine passed away.

Some of you may know my friend Ben...he is from Kitchener and has been to a few CTMF. Ben was riding his motorcycle to Alberta to start a job. Unfortunatly, it is believed that he fell asleep and was struck by an oncoming car. The details are not all too clear at this point. He was airlifted to hospital where he had surgery. He never made it.

Ben was an amazing artist and an amazing soul. Right now there are many people who are struggling to deal with this news, myself one.

I am reaching out to the board as so many often do for support. And to pass along the information for others who Ben may have touched on his journey of life.

Guys...this really fucking sucks.

I am off for a five day much needed hiatus from the kdub...too much work and too little play has made natalie a crazy mo fo. No I am not checkin into a 'padded room' I am off to sauble until tuesday and was wondering if anyone else was gonna be on vacation. Although I am going to be spending most of my time writing, reading and playing guitar I am sure I will be out and about somewhat.

I hope everyone else has been having a good vacation this summer. I hope to see some of you in the coming weeks as summer comes to a close. In case no one knew I decided to defer my schooling for a year to work some cash up and am now cooking at the Rude Native in Waterloo. Where I will remain for the next while.

ooohhhh....I sure hope I can make it out to this one....

I missed most of the weekend due to work engagements but did manage to make it on sunday for my bartending shift at the island stage....man I was a little jealous at the vibe everyone was sporting...it is hard to go into a fest on day 3 and try to whip it up....

The princess cinema is offering a music and movie under the stars tonight at Waterloo Park Bandshell.

It is in coordination with the KW Multicultural society.

At 7:30 pm Errol Blackwood will play with Injahband and then the Bob Marley documentary Time will Tell will be shown under the stars.

This is a donation event.

I hope that some of you will be there I'll bring the blanket if you bring the popcorn.
