  2. will it go round in circles? - diesel dog

the first time my wife jennifer saw diesel dog, they did this tune. afterward, she was asking my why they hadn't made it big with tunes like that (she didn't know the original).

  3. I have a client that I do mechanical design work for. He has a stalled project that needs an embedded software person to bring it back to life. His system is based on a Freescale processor...if you are someone who does this sort of thing, or knows someone that does this sort of thing, send me a PM.

    cheers

the above device/installation artwork piece, titled a Tool To Decieve and Slaughter, sells itself on ebay every seven days. It is an acrylic cube with a computer inside it. As part of the sale agreement, the new owner promises to leave it hooked to the internet whereupon it puts itself on ebay. it originally sold for $2500, i think this week's auction, the third or forth in it's life, is sitting around $6800. The owner keeps the proceeds less 15% of each sale remitted to the artist.

originally i thought this was a mockery of the art world, but it does seem to be brilliant art marketing...

  5. I don't know if I'm the only guy that registers the phrase 'Fart But' every time he sees the title of this thread, but I think the suggestion of Cats Neilson is a good one.

pleased to hear i'm not the only one. certainly good for a giggle but maybe not the best for drawing a crowd.
