Another option for your May 24 weekend. Its being put on by my buddy Ray, some of you may know him from The Cosmic Boogie Band.
Its in Orono ON, which is about 45 minutes east of Toronto. 401/115 area.
Early bird tickets in effect now until April 1st.
I don't really know much about the festival, I know he was looking for vendors and sponsors, if thats your thing.

As per the Security Guard, its probably gonna be the same guy(s) all the time, so its probably best to work with them, as he is there to help your park. Probably a good idea to teach the kids he's actually on their side, so try not to razz him to much.

My thoughts are this.... sounds cliche but you need to get the community involved. First off the skaters need to get together and make it known these activities are not welcome. Take some ownership in the park.
Get there parents involved. Maybe the presence of some adults would help.... A lot of folks simply dump the kids off at the park for the day.
Possibly get some older skaters involved..... maybe they come out skating during problem times.
Any local shops? Get them involved, hold some contests..,giveaways.
Not sure on cost, but bring a pro in... maybe a team.
I think building a strong positive skate community will push your riff/raff out.

In!! No pine knob though.

Solid show last night. Pretty sure they played the new album straight through. Glad I'd givin' it a few quick listens. Highlights were Toadies(Minutemen tune) in the encore and I really dug the song Tom Watson sung.
I stayed at the back beside soundboard for the night, but went up to watch the boys breakdown their gear. Watt is looking kinda rough these days and I wonder how much longer he handle touring out of a van.
-
Did anyone go last night? What time did Watt go on? How long did he play? Last time he came through T.O.(Horseshoe gig) I got there around 11 and missed most of his set. Not sure if it was because it was a Sunday night but they seemed to shut him down around 12.

This is good... looks like a ton of fun too.

Haha, this is awesome, can't wait to grab tickets.

not to worry. your ticket request # and your ticket purchase # will be different. and phish is now charging less for lawn tix than for seats, so your order would be lower than estimated.
Excellent, thanks.
-
Shit man... I'm noticing the reciept # is different then the one I was giving when I placed the order. Also the total charge is 30 bucks less then the original cost.
Got a feelin' these aren't mine.

So I've found the board I'm looking for on Ebay..... its in the States and the website is showing a shipping cost of $45, which seems reasonable. Now my question is, will there be any additional fees... duty? taxes? any idea how much extra these will be?
And for those of you that ride, here it is.

Live Stream, sounding great.

My thoughts are with you Basher.... I met Julia only once, you guys came out to see a band and visit POG in Oshawa .... I don't remember many details of the night but surely remember her beautiful spirit and infectious kind vibes.... Be Well.

Garth played last weekend w/ the Sadies, sadly I was unable to attend...... sounds like a great time.

I hate meatstick, but this is awesome..... Mike is killing it.

Yeah, the place was packed, way too much crowd for my liking...... I got a clip of most of the second tune you guys did w/ Progress. I'll try and post it up.

Is Iclips loading for anyone?
-
...I hope they get some good bands to play... I read somewhere maybe Rage?
I hope your right, cause this start doesn't look good to me....
Foo Fighters, Nickelback, and Lady Gaga are among the acts that have been contacted.

Sounds like a nice bus. No rust is key. Seems like a reasonable price in Ontario. Westfalia? You may want to check out http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/ to price compare.
Good luck and hope you enjoy life in the slow lane.

Not something that would be in my regular listening picks but I'm really liking this mossyrock free release. http://galactique.net/threeeps.html
