  1. Alright folks-I need some advice. I've already bugged plenty of friends about this one and have gotten no where. When the hell do you pop the 'L'word in a relationship? I know it depends on a million different things, mostly when it feels right. But what if no one has said it for almost a year? This seems a long while to me. I've never had to nerve to say it or bring it up in fear of being rejected. Is it possible the other person is feeling the same way? Because if they didn't love you, why would they then stay for that period of time?

It always seems like such a big thing when it shouldn't be at all.

    Well??

  2. I've had the insurance for a few years now. I pay 21.00 a month for both dogs. I feel a sense of security knowing it's there-hell, anything can happen so quick with your pet-then whammo-bill city. I know I wouldn't be able to fork out a lot of money for emergency bills, so this at least will cover up to 500. for most first time illnesses, and I think more depending on the injury. I see it as a good thing. They're your family too, so it's better to be prepared.

  3. I like the idea of an emerald engagement ring-doesn't have to be standard whatsoever. I was given an engagement ring a few years back (now no longer with that person, luckily didn't get married). I remember NOT liking my ring-it was a gold solitaire that stood up high-totally not me-seemed so frumpy. Plus I noticed some weird line in my diamond which made me wonder what kind of stone it was??? Of course, I never brought these things up because I didn't want any bad feelings at the time.

I agree that spending a whole lot of money on a damn ring seems senseless-I like simple and thoughtful-reasonable-and not super fancy or something that could possibly be a rip off.

  4. I'm always looking to see who's playing in town-perhaps people read your threads about music and take it in-maybe they don't respond. In any case, I wouldn't stop promoting music and new musicians-nothing bad will come of it.

  5. Words in the english language have multiple uses and intents, and I think when the majority of people use the word 'gay' to describe something else other than actually homosexual preferences, that it is fine. If younger children are using it in an actual prejudice manner, then it should be addressed appropriately.

    Look at the word cock? Two very different meanings with that one. But even with other mellow words such as;

I bought a ball for my dog.

What are you going to wear to the ball?

    Did you ball her?

I had a ball last night!

    or

    Did you leave a tip?

There's the tip of the mountain!

    The boat's going to tip!

Ask for a few tips on how to fix that.

It's all context and how it's being used.

  6. You can definately hear that Beatle influence on his last album. Some songs reminded me of when they released a few Beatles songs after Lennon's death and digitally remastered his voice-making it sound like it was coming from the 'other side' or something. Has that light wavering ghost-like feel to it.

Either/Or or his self titled album which I recently got (that has Christian Brothers on it) or my favorites. It took me a while to get into Figure 8. But this boy is prolly one of my absolute favs-if not the favorite if I had to pick (along with Lennon).
