  1. I don't know if it's been done, how would you like to see a tech forum here so we can trade technical recording info, techniques, gear, buy and sell gear, swap and trade, amusing stories, mic types and techniques, taper profiles, digital editing programs and issues, etc. etc.

  2. Sorry Laz ya doorknob, I don't believe you. I'm sure you would have thought up something a little more original than "booorrrring..."

oh by the way, your avatar is....um...disturbing...??

  3. Codetalkers, I'm still abuzz. Just going through my board tape now....there transfered to digital! Wondering why nobody asked me for a board feed??? I took my feed off the compressor and oh boy! Yum. A little distorted in a couple spots ( cos I was driving the snot out of the board) so I'd love to here another taper's ambient results from that night. Drop me a cd at PJ's if you can. I only have a few tunes because of stupid 60min cassettes and most tunes were over 15 minutes long except for the one tune which was cut short due to some moron in the crowd who kept shouting "Boring" in the quiet parts. I'm sorry people, but I must have a wee rant here, forgive me...Tyler took offence to that, and never did this amazing drum solo which he told me after was going to include some insanity which would have included Ted the bassist! So thanks to the idiot who thinks he needs to be the center of attention despite anything else going on around him. You disrupted the show, and acted shameful in the face of legends. Now you're on tape as an idiot. Nice.

  4. I'd like to say in my very first posting, that it was an honour to spend the day with The Codetalkers, now I realise how lucky I was. Jimmy Herring was one of the most gracious cats I ever met, and to stand and talk with him one-on-one and then mix his guitar all night, was an evening I will never forget. For those of you who were'nt around much later as the band was leaving, a humorous incident when their bus generator went dead and I boosted it with my Cavalier, to which Bobby kept saying, "yer awsome Dugee, yer the shit dude". Then he gave me 10 bucks for my gas...and a shirt. I like my job, and it was an honour to work with them. True class. See yal Labour Day at CTMF, I'll be at the board.
