  1. Hey Ya'll the moment that you all have been waiting for has finally arrived. I have finished converting the video of Grand Theft Bus from this years most recent Evolve Music Festival and its now being shared on Direct Connect. If you don't have high speed Internet - just toss me an email and I will also be doing B+P's for as many people who want it.

    Here's my addy: mike_stelmach@hotmail.com

    And heres the file info:

    02. Old Guiseppe -> Street Sleeper 17:51

    03. Moontick* 07:38

    04. Never Can Tell 04:55

    02. Weight of Circumstance 12:00

    Total Disc II 31:57

    *First Time Played

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----

Notes: Theres a slight cut between Street Sleeper and Moontick because I had to

change the tape, however - there was no music lost, just crowd noise. Similarly

there is a cut during the end of Weight of Circumstance - unfotunately there is

    about 1:30 missing.

In the near future - be on the lookout for more Evolve3 releases and some other goodies including: Burt Neilson Band, nero and Jimmy Swift Band from various venues around Southern Ontario!

  2. This is a really tough decision for me and as a result I've come up with a few options.

    1) - Somehow severing myself in two, therefore my legs will be dancing my ass off at JSB/GTB while my torsoe and head will be nodding away to the sweet, sweet Burt Neilson goodness.

    2) Creating a time machine and watching the Burt Neilson show - then going back in time and watching the GTB/JSB show - seems to make sense?!?

    3) Curling up in a ball in the fetal position at home while both concerts take place because I can't make up my mind on which one to see.

So I figure I've got some options - but either way it should work out well for everyone.

  3. I used to be a die-hard Dave Matthews fan. I couldn't go a day without listening to him - or I would feel ill. But then he did start to get predictable and I slowly weened myself off of him and started listening to a little band called Phish. That was the beginning of the end.

I guess Dave was kind of an introduction into the jamband scene for me. I'll still give his CD's a listen every once in a while and I'll catch him any time he's in TO.

  4. If you really wanna chill with some decent music playing in the background - I'd pick one of many little places along College St:

Utopia Cafe & Grill - nice little place, Lava Lounge, Lily Bar & Lounge, and if you want good food after going out I'd reccomend Sneeky Dee's (Bathurst and College) or 7 West (Younge and 1 street south of Bloor (Open 24 hours)) <- both of which have been frequented after the bar!

  5. Hey Ya'll,

The Jimmy Swift Band is now available at the Internet / Etree archive.

    http://www.archive.org/audio/

I uploaded 2002-10-16 and 2002-10-25 in SHN format, and more shows should be on the way soon. I'm also in the process of getting Nero signed up and hopefully Grand Theft Bus. If you haven't checked this thing out - its wicked. Typical download speeds are around 115 Kbps. Thats flying you can get an entire show in less than 2 hours!

If you have any JSB shows - its really easy to upload (through FTP servers).

    Everybody Enjoy!

  6. I think that the lights and video suggestion is a good one. Those types of add-ons would really compliment and enhance the nero experience. I've always wanted them to bust something like that out.
