I'm definately in for this one. I'll be bringing some jamband newbies as well - selling them on the crazy Jimmy Swift Band electronica. See ya'll there!

Thursday night at Wilfs definately kicked. It took a little while to get the Laurier kids into it, but by second set everybody was shaking their booty. Awesome versions of Wata Bug, Condor, 401 Theme, Lemondust and Chocolate Monkey Machine made the trip well worth while.
In deed it was fun times with the Skanks. Good to meet up with Meego, Tungsten, show-whore among others. Good luck to the Nero crew on the West coast tour and I can't wait till you guys come back.

Aww Yeah!!! This show is going to be a lot of fun. I'm interested in seeing two sets of the crazy kids busting it.
See ya'll there!!!

I'll be at one or two of the TO shows. Does anybody know for sure whether or not Jomomma is opening on Sat?
-
Hey Ya'll,
I'm listening to a sweet Jager induced Evolve 3 set right now!
I'm definately going to make it out to the show. Here's a little bit of info on the Laurier show. Wilfs is a bar that's on the school campus. It's in a building called the Dr. Alvin Woods Building. Once you get to Laurier just ask someone where it is, they'll help - its pretty easy to find.
The show will definately be 19+ unless you are a Laurier student, in which case you'll have to get a wrist band. Come to think of it - you may be able to get in if you're under 19 and not a Laurier student - however you may want to contact management. Anyway, it's gonna be a killer show and I'm really looking forward to it. See everybody there,
Mike

Tomorrow night - theres gonna be a little Tungsten, and a little grooveston, then theres gonna be a little Nero and a little Jomomma - I can't wait.
The Punk rules!!!

These days it would be easier to list what isn't in my CD player. Anyway - here's what is:
Jimmy Swift Band - 2002-08-24 - They playedd an absolutely killer set at Evolve - I can't wait to hear them soon!!!
Phish - Hampton Comes Alive - At least one of the 6 CD's are in my changer at some point.
Jomomma - Mobile - If you haven't picked up the CD - do so when they're in your town next - its really well done.
Nero - 2002-06-30 - SBD from frontiertown Crazy ass Lemondust
Grand Theft Bus - 2002-08-09 - a sick show with some great new tunes - can't wait for their debut disc to come out.
Well folks thats just a brief selection of what I've been listening to lately.
-
I'm definately in.
I've been wanting to go to something like this for a while. Basking in the sun during the day and drinking rum and listening to kick ass tunes at night.
Would it be a one night big show? Or multiple nights - like a festival type thing?
Either way I'm totally stoked!!
-
My fate is the same!!!
-
This show is gonna kick so much ass. Make sure to come early to catch some Jomomma goodness.
Peace

Hey Everybody,
Prevolve, Prevolve, Prevolve. For those people who are looking for a good time after the Bob Dilon show - come check out the Jimmy Swift Band at the Kathedral. It's a Pre-Evolve show, giving us a taste of whats to come next weekend. The venue is located at Queen and Bathurst and it should definately be a solid show!
See ya'll there,
Peace

I definately enjoyed these guys. Their live act is a whole experience! They get dressed up like Cavemen, and put body paint all over themselves. It was a really good time, hope to see them sometime soon in Toronto again.
-
Ya,
This show is going to be sweet!!! If you can't catch the Nero / Downtime show in Toronto - definately check this one out.
Peace

My favorite shows would have to be:
1. BNB 2002-04-06 - a solid way to say goodbye to the Horseshoe
2. Nero 2002-06-30 - Come Together Festival - another awesome show
3. GTB 2002-05-22 - @ the CoZo - we need to see more of these guys in Toronto
4. Threat from Outer Space 2002-07-31 @ the CoZo - when you get a chance check these guys out - they're a lot of fun
Peace!

All I know is that Guerilla Funk Moster is from Winnepeg and Caveman is from NYC. I'll be there as well - lets see how many people we can get out to the show.

Hey Y'all,
I was just wondering if anybody has some extra room for 1 more person for a ride to the Come Together Music Festival this weekend? I missed the last one and judging by the reviews, it was not a smart decision.
Thanks a lot - The skank rocks!
PS reply on list or email me at mike_stelmach@hotmail.com

Yeah the show really was awesome. Tons of dancing right from the start.
I video taped the show and the recording came out really well. Look out for some VHS B+P's in the near future - in addition to it being up on the web.
Peace

Hey Ya'll,
The Toronto scene is looking pretty solid this week. Hopefully we'll see as many people as possible for the following shows:
Wed 12 - Nero @ the Comfort Zone - back from their western tour and apparently tighter than ever!
Thurs 13 - the New Deal @ the Opera House
Fri 14 - the New Deal @ the Opera House - it should be two solid nights of music and dancing with the boys back on their home turf
Sat 15 - Medeski, Martin and Wood @ the Harbourfront Centre - a nice way to end four nights of solid jamming music
In addition anybody who caught the Downtime show at the Comfort Zone on Wednesday will agree that they brought down the house!! The addition of Jeff Heisholt added a whole new element to their music. I can't wait to see these guys again, soon.
Peace
-
I'm looking forward to checking out Downtime for the firsttime. Should be fun!!!
Peace
-
It was another tough decision with Metalwood and Heisholt's new band playing at the Rivoli, but I can't get enough of that Jomomma funk!!
See ya'll there!!!
Comfort Zone this Friday - Laketrout & GTB!!!

Hey Shain - why don't you just take the "Bus" - just kidding.
Anyway - this show is going to be really good. I can't wait to hear the debut album from the Grand Theftsters - Birth of Confusion. I've heard some decent things about it. See ya'll there!
