  1. HAHAHAHAHHAHAAHAH

now that's a fucking SIGNATURE!!! [big Grin]

    touche Graham Pearson touche

you forgot Dougie right after i shook Trey's hand and told him that i really loved his music:

"THANKYOU! THANKYOU!! THANKYOU!!! THANKYOU!!!! THANKYOU!!!!!" while shaking his hand with 2 of his own [smile]

i think that's when trey started making his move for the other side of the bar [Wink]

graham didn't shake his hand or say shit because he was too busy checking Trey's ass out up close for the first time [Razz] or something like that...

  2. nice job mike!!! phantastic pics!

I had posted a little earlier but i had thought i had jumped the gun seeing as though Andre is still in town...but hey fuck iiiiiit we gots permission from the best man now to go ahead and say shit [smile]

I love Andre and Lynn. They are 2 of the best people i have ever met. We need to do everything in our power to make this deal go down right. Bring party supplies people....bring your dancing shoes (i don't think the music will be standard wedding stuff? not if Andre had anything to do with it)

To think that they're getting married this weekend is just wild! We are going to have a great time pholks...

Anyone who is going down for the wedding, drive safe and arrive alive (drink no more than 5) [Wink]

Seriously though the last i heard form Andre about the wedding was a quick subject change....has anyone spoke to him about his "feelings" about it all recently? hahahahhaha he IS very emotional as we all know [Razz] any wagers on who cries first??? Andre or Lynn? I got 10 BIG ONES on Andre!! [Razz][big Grin]

i'd be shitting rocks the size of jabralter (sp?) if i were him...

i saw Lynn a couple days ago, and she was in control as usual (i tried to make her a bit nervous to no avail)...she's got that boy by the balls, and ain't letting go now!!!

lol oh the humanity...Andre and Lynn BOUCHARD!!!!! What's next? an 8-legged donkey????[Razz]

Who all is married here, and are there any crazy wedding day or days leading up to stories?

  3. alright--i'll go on about that party a bit more:

ok, so we're backstage and Fish is hitting on my girl as usual [smile] which is fine in retrospect...I didn't care at the time that much...we were all very high and drunk and in party mode (the girl and i had only been together since the start of tour as well, so nothing was really solid there yet anyways)

We were going backstage every show, and meeting lots of cool people (most of those people really know how to party).

So on CK5's birthday, we had all taken alot of acid...alot. Actually it wasn't that much, but it was extremely potent liquid. We lost our shit at the show, and did the backstage thing, had a couple free cold ones (the best part about going backstage really) So we suffered through Jon having to deal with a few jackasses that were completely star-struck--i remember this one guy askign him what type of cereal he eats in the morning??? what the...? weird. it's weird sometimes because people just stand and stare at him and don't even listen to what he says (which is a shame because the fucking guy is hilarious most of the time)

So jon invites us all back to the 4-seasons to celebrate. Shortly thereafter we arrive,a nd head on up to the party suite that they had got just for the birthday party....big suite with a few rooms...we walk in, and there's large bowls of coca on the tables---overflowing actually. it was nuts...i was shocked. i was not expecting that, but hey!!! FREE COKE!!!

Bathroom was filled with a million kinds of beer. pipes and joints were being passed around like crazy, and everyone was mingling and such.

Swaggy, a friend of ours who came with, had a bunch of opium, and he and i hit into that pretty hard, and managed to pass it around to lots of pholks who enjoyed it. i'm not sure if Page did, but he might've...this was the first time I ever met Page. He's never backstage. Nor is Trey really...just Mike and Jon. Mike alaways seemed a little odd, and pretty difficult to talk to, not like jon who looks exactly like he is. Mike would come into the party, grab a girl, leave for an hour and come back in a new set of threads. grab another girl....and so on.

I spoke with Topher for quite some time, and with his fiance as well...she's a total bitch! I vuagely remember bumming a smoke from her and getting daggers shooting out of her eyes at me as she handed one over....chris looked at me with a like "sorry dude" look on his face. i did the same back.

Swag wtook off downstairs to play the piano for Page, and a few of us followed (trey, jon, jj, some girls we knew, and others)...this was a total thrill for Swaggy, and he did pretty damn good i thought---jon made a wisecrack abotu beign in the same key for so long, but Swag was on top of the world! everyone clapped when he finished after about 10 minutes!

so we went back upstairs, and hit the party again, most of the people had gone to one of the other rooms where the yayo had been relocated to. i decided to relax and smoke some pot. Swag page and i shared a bomber, and we heard the trey line and laughed....trey left soon after [Wink]

i spoke with trey for like 5 minutes that night, but i have no idea what was said...it was a few of us talking about the lightning storm at Polaris a coupla shows ago...or the night before (i think this was at deer creek the topher b-day show) i dunno....tour is always a blur for me.

what else...hmmm...yeah ended up driving back to the campsite at around 9am or so...grabbed some stuff, and headed to the holiday in and drank beer all day in the pool.

so that's the full kuroda night story.

  4. my ex girlfriend is a slut [Eek!]

and so is Jon Fishman.... [Wink]

and i guess i am too [Confused] or in retrospect....whatever...goodtimes nonetheless [smile]

actually speaking of pictures--they don't do them...we had to seriously prod Jon for one. I have one with me, Jon, My ex, and an indian prince and princess we met backstage (the princess would later go on to being Jon's steady for around 6 months) They were very cool people actually....he's a doctor, and well...she's just rich and extremely beautiful/intelligent. She ended up kicking Jon's drunk ass to the curb.

  5. I like when Trey does the "nobody is going to be the next Jerry Garcia---that's insane" talk in his jeep.

I also like the gun store scene and the fishman in the morning (afternoon) refusal for the interview (typical). I also really liked Trey talking about the shows and how it's all about the energy of the room...that shit is cool...he's the man.

As far as Trey being cocky??? I had the opportunity to party with him and all of those guys at CK5's birthday party in '99. Trey was anything but cocky...more like very drunk and very humble and nice---just one of the guys.

It was neat singing happy birthday to Topher, standing 2 people away from Trey (Hunter-my friend-was right beside Trey, and Trey turned to him after and gave him an approving smile re: his harmonies!)

Another interesting note: Trey's slurred pickup line on the VERY hot little hippy girl, while he leaned over her against the wall a few feet away from where Page, Swaggy (my friend) and I were smoking a huge phatty: "I find you very attractive"

Even Page looked at me and Swag with a "how lame was that line" look. [big Grin]

Guess you have to be a rockstar to have that one work. It did, BTW.

  6. haha! GM that post made me think of the movie American Psycho, and I'm not sure why exactly???

"Do you like Phil Collins? I've been a big Genesis fan ever since the release of their 1980 album, Duke. Before that, I really didn't understand any of their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on Duke where, uh, Phil Collins' presence became more apparent. I think Invisible Touch was the group's undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding three albums. Christy, take off your robe. Listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of Banks, Collins and Rutherford. You can practically hear every nuance of every instrument. Sabrina, remove your dress. In terms of lyrical craftsmanship, the sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism. Sabrina, why don't you, uh, dance a little. Take the lyrics to Land of Confusion. In this song, Phil Collins addresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980s, about monogamy and commitment. The song is extremely uplifting. Their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as, uh, anything I've heard in rock. Christy, get down on your knees so Sabrina can see your ass. Phil Collins' solo career seems to be more commercial and therefore more satisfying, in a narrower way. Especially songs like In the Air Tonight and, uh, Against All Odds. Sabrina, don't just stare at it, eat it. But I also think Phil Collins works best within the confines of the group, than as a solo artist, and I stress the word artist. This is Sussudio, a great, great song, a personal favorite."

I when I first picked up the guitar, i used to love to try to play along with Nirvana, ABB, The Toadies, Cream...

  7. wow secondtube??

that sucks. hope evrything is ok and "falling" will not be a common thing in your life? hopefully a note from the family doctor can settle that licence issue...an ex-girlfriend had a similar situation, and her doctor vouched for her and she got her licence back (or not completely taken away) pretty easily.

  8. this was posted on www.greggbraden.net a few days shy of 1 year ago today (he's a pretty sharp dude IMO). if you've never heard of him, some of you might want to check out some of his stuff...i recommend his book: "awaking to zero point", which opened a few avenues of thought for me:

Where Do We Go From Here?

The tragedy that has fallen upon our nation has placed world leaders, and individuals alike, into the uneasy position of uncharted territory. There are no models, strategies or manuals, no one to turn to with detailed procedures as to where we go from here. How are we to respond to such an unconscionable act carried out by faceless perpetrators resulting in unimaginable losses? How do our leaders balance the anger of a nation with the most sophisticated arsenal of military power that the world has ever known? History has shown us that there are no "pat", predetermined answers to these questions. There are only our choices that result from what we know and believe to be true, information that changes by the hour.

In the aftermath of the last hours and days, the magnitude of what has happened is surpassed only by the uncertainty of what comes next. This, by far, is the greatest fear that I have heard expressed. The events that have unfolded leave us at a particularly perilous crossroads teetering between our emotions of outrage and the need for retribution and a longing for reason. What are we to "do" next?

What we must bear in mind is that the choices made in the next hours and days will set the course of human history for generations to come.

The magnitude of the events within the last days has opened a deep wound in the consciousness of our nation and the civilized world; a void that seeks to be filled quickly, to balance the emptiness. Whatever rushes in to fill the void of our nation's loss will set the stage for events of lasting consequences and irreversible effects. Do we fill the void with an overwhelming display of force and power to quell the pain of a grieving nation, or do we fill the void with the measured response of a nation demonstrating to the world that we have truly entered an unprecedented era of dealing with conflict through new and innovative ways?

Albert Einstein stated that the problems of our world cannot be solved with the same thinking that created the problems to begin with. The events of September 11, 2001 may well represent the first opportunity in the new millennium for the most powerful nation in the history of the earth to demonstrate to the world that there is another way to deal with those who oppose our ideals of peace and freedom. The choices that we make as a people will define us as a nation and lay the foundation of global policies for generations to come.

    What Do We Do?

Clearly, there is nothing that can justify the unthinkable acts of tragedy and pre-meditated attacks that have resulted in the loss of so many lives. Just as clearly, there is nothing that we can do to any individual or any nation to bring back the immeasurable number of lives that have been lost.

Our office has been flooded with telephone calls and email messages asking a simple question: "What do we do?"

I will be the first to state clearly that I do not have "the answer" to this question. Each individual must find a way to reconcile the events of the last days in their minds and in their hearts. Sometimes it helps to break the big problems into manageable pieces. I offer the following as guidelines only, in an effort to serve those who have asked for recommendations and guidance.

With these ideas in mind, our first actions must be near-term:

    1. To care for our own.

    *To search for survivors.

*To support our rescue and recovery teams, our governmental and organizational leaders.

Clearly our nation has been attacked. We must demonstrate that not only has the attack failed to fragment our country, it has melded our nation into a unified force of support and solidarity.

*To take the necessary precautions to secure our nation in the presence of the very real threat of additional attacks.

    2. To choose our response wisely and responsibly

*To understand that the policies of "globalization" have melded us into a global family. The choices made over the next days and weeks will affect all people of all nations and have the potential of lasting consequences for the quality of life and the future of our world.

*To invoke our power of prayer, a very real power that quantum science now defines as our ability to participate in a unified web of energy that links all of creation.

*Through our prayers, empower our leaders to choose wisely, with the guidance of our creator, for the good of all people with the long-term vision of a global peace rather than a short-term goal of balancing an act of terror.

    3. Ultimately, to realize that there is no "them" and "us."

We share the same world and there is a "we" - different aspects of the same conscious body. When the dust has settled, ultimately, we must look deep within ourselves to know what it is within ourselves that is mirrored by increasingly greater acts of terror and destruction. From dysfunctional families, to school shootings, to acts of terror against the United States on foreign soil, to the attacks upon our own soil, we are witnessing a pattern of increasingly greater acts of anger and lack of respect for human life directed toward Americans. Imposing a military action on the "outside" does not change the thinking that led to the acts to begin with. If we have the wisdom to recognize the language of "mirrors," we will have witnessed an obvious indication of the need for change.

  9. i have learned that you can't trust a girl, no matter how much you love her.

i have learned that too much xtc and acid at the same time makes me delusional.

i have learned that sometimes 2 wrongs do make a right, but for the most part wrongs suck ass.

i have learned that running your own business isn't as easy as it sounds.

i have learned that getting a house is easier than it sounds

i have learned that my friends are the most wonderful friends any guy could ever be lucky enough to have.

i have learned that peace and love is not just idealistic hippy bullshit.

i have learned that ambition is a wonderful thing for me to have.

i have learned that moe. RULES!

i have learned that spite and jealousy are petty, wasted emotions

i have learned that just because it's a role, doesn't make it an act.
