My sister saw it on Sunday at the Cumberland in Toronto. She said it was amazing, better than Roger & Me. Apparently the interview with Charleton Heston is unbelievable.
I hope to see it this week.

I went on Friday as well, the show at the Skydome was a lot better than the show on Wedensday at the ACC. The security at the Dome is WAY friendlier than the Air Canada people!!!

I also thought the opening band sounded like a nirvana record played backwards and cranked to the tits! If I wanted noise I'd go to an Atari Teenage Riot show.

Rose Garland probably won't get on stage until 12:30AM.
They are a band thats been around for 5 years now, always covering the Dead no original tunes. One of the guitar players (Dave) sings a lot like Bobby and Aaron the other singer on Drums is really good as well. They always have their own sound and lighting equipment including liquid lights. Recently they've started covering a few Phish tunes which I don't personally enjoy but it sounds all right, I do like Glen the bassist singing Mike's Song and Ya Mar.
Unlike Caution Jam they don't cover the dead in their own way, I find their objective is to sound more like the Grateful Dead every time they play together.
I went out and saw them in Thorold, ON with Caution Jam in the spring time and have been to every one of their shows since. A great band if you love the Dead.
Hope to see some of you there.

I'll see you there Sarah, as always. Anyone else even considering having a good time tonight?

I personally thought Keith was in fine form for someone who has been dead for 15 years.
You definitely got it right about shitty openers for the Stones. I remember seeing the fuckin' Spin Doctors opening for them in '94, I wish they had a perscription for a headache!!!
Like I did on Wednesday night I'm gonna be smokin' in the boys room during the opening band tonight. I just hope they change the show a little bit cause the ACC show was like sunday at grandma's house.

ooooohhhhh..... that guys hot too!!!
I think I heard they were brother and sister anyone know?

Radiohead played Aug. 19th 1997 at Arrow Hall inside the International Center, August 18th in London at Centennial Hall and played June 2nd 1997 at The Operahouse.

Sorry I ignored the Beck part, Molson Amp. with Sean Lennon. I guess it was '97 or '96 they played Lee's.
Oh whatever they've disbanded already.

Northern Wish: man some of the shows on your list took me back brother. Especially that Ben Harper 10/28/99 and 10/29/99 and then MMW 10/30/99! Three days I still don't think I've sobered up from.
I also remember 10/27/99 I saw Guster at the Shoe. Whooo what a kick-ass week that was huh?
Ben Folds 6/3/98 was at Lee's Palace was it not?

Anyone go? I snuck in a side door, I have to say though they were a lot better the last time I saw them 8 years ago.
And as a plus I had to watch the show with 17'998 dead people. You couldn't have got these people going with a cattle prod. It really makes you appreciate going to "jam" shows all that much more.
Anyways... Highlights for me were: Can't You Hear Me Knockin', Honkey Tonk Women, Happy and Let It Bleed.
I'll be back at the Skydome show on Friday and Rose Garland afterwards where at least I know they'll slam down a "Loving Cup" for me.

action speaks louder than words Mr. Phish and I would really like to see some action like these bullsh*t "ticket agencies" going DOWN!!
Though I gotta say it is nice and about goddamn time they spoke up about this issue.
-
I really don't wanna gripe about $8 because I totally think JSB are worth it, but they are playing for free in Toronto 6 days after that show!!!
-
I can't wait for this one
Anyone in the GTA should check out this show, it's gonna be a party with liquid lights and all!
-
Hey Steve I might have room for two but I think we're staying in town for the night.
-
I think some of the band members have changed in the last 4-5 years. More specifically their drummer and maybe the bass player.
Make no mistake they are all super tight though. What I first really got off on was how the drummer Aaron sings a lot of the songs, you don't see drummers singing enough.
Anyone else in for the trip?

while searching for Mule tickets for tonights show in Detroit, I came across this one:
Gov't Mule Dec. 30th & 31st - Beacon Theater NYC - Tickets are $33-$43 for the 30th and $43-$53 for New Years Eve. It didn't say when they go on sale yet though.

Just a question if you think Robert Hunter's song writing isn't that great, whose lyrics do you like?
I thought everyone loved his lyrics!

newrider is like a normal walking stick, but it's also available in white.

Favorite Phish tunes: Harpua, Vultures & Destiny Unbound
Least Favorite: Character Zero (too many times live has ruined this song for me), Waste (worst encore song EVER!), Jennifer Dances (this song was just stupid)

I think it's a little cheesy but most of these artists will probably never a Billboard or Grammy, AMA whatever.
The whole turns out to be shit anyways when Trey runs off with all the awards. I thought his album was good, but Best Tour?!?! He plays a lot of the same songs everynight, few special guests, no opener ect. ect.

I see it's on jambase and on the Zone's website, WTF?

Both "France" and "From The Heart of Me" make me sick beyond belief!
I used to hate Tons of Steel as well, but after a while it became my favorite Brent song.
