Handmade Music Toronto and the Monome Tour are hosting a two night festival featuring Do-It-Yourself instruments and performances from Toronto and internationally (i.e. the US).
We've also a series of free intro level workshops on the Saturday, including grid controllers, DIY music, and visuals.
The nights themselves are PWYC, and we've got the monome tour compilation CD for you to buy and listen to religiously for the next four months.
Current lineup:
Das Bass, No Luck Club, Kero, TheAlphaNerd, Cigarette Operahouse, Island Dweller, Darkseeker, Readywater, and more to come.
Info about the Monome tour: http://createdigitalmusic.com/2010/08/27/monome-community-tour/ and http://www.monometour.com/
Organized by Stephen McLeod, Andrew Lovett-Barron, Alex Snukal, Myles Borins, and the Monome community. Inspired by Peter Kirn's Handmade Music series in New York.

www.900bats.com
it's up there, under the eye doctor chair...
please do grab the free download...
it's 30 minutes of original and extremely un-authorized remixes and junk...
im actually really stoked to have some free noise to offer as it's been a minute...

My girlfriend loves the name Peyton for a girl... but she promises it is not due to her obsession with the colts...
We also like the name Jordan

Perhaps... I find it is a good way to get an honest critique though... piss off a phish fan and they will tell you everything that is wrong with the track.
For the one song I think is my best effort (jittery fingers) I had a bunch of people get my back and tell me how great the song was.
I definitely am laughing at PT and not taking it to heart
-
Glad you enjoyed the show... they got so upset... I think the thread got modded too
