My Weekend With Smokestack....

Well, what a weekend it was. I am utterly exhausted and burnt out, but it sure was worth it. Firstly, Hamilton was nothing but fun. The show was great the vibe abd energy in the room was unparalleled and the afterparty was raging. Thank you to everyone who made it a special night. It sure was one sweet time.

So after work on SAT I went with the band to Bemus Point, NY, and their show at a bar called The Casino. (which isn't a casino). They were more of a lounge style act throughout the night as the bar was more of a sports bar, but the show was just as fantastic. In addition, this town is right on Chittaqua Lake, and the bar is actually part of the pier. It was absolutely gorgeous. The stars were out in full force, the 4 bars in the town were raging the the party didn't stop till 4. Ended up crashing at this super friendly gay couple's makeshift bed and breakfast who happened to be Rusted Root's landlords and part of this weird but beautiful gated community in Chittaqua. Unfortunately couldn't get the day off work yesterday so I woke up at 8AM and drove the three hours home to be at work, but what a weekend. I love spontaneous excursions to new and interesting places, and this 'why the hell not' style trip was well worth feeling like shit afterwards.
