One of the 2 reported Bonnaroo deaths -- the death of Brandon Taylor is being attributed by his family to a congential heart defect. Apparently someone who knows the family appended this email to the bonnaroo listserve group:

Hey everyone,

As we know, Brandon Taylor was one of the unfortunate folks to have

passed away at Bonnaroo this year.

Earlier today I received an email from his mom because it's really

hurting his family that there are rumors being spread that he died from a drug overdose. This is not true.

She wanted everyone to know that Brandon passed away because of a

congenital heart defect and not drugs.

Here is a message that she asked I pass along to you guys:

Brandon John Taylor, aged 20, of Kihei, Maui, previously of Lowell, MI, joined his brother Brett who is forever 16, in Heaven on June 11th, 2004. Brandon spent his last day on Earth surrounded by his friends and family at Bonnaroo. He was so excited about going to Bonnaroo it brings us peace to know that he made it there. He worked at Stella Blues Cafe in Maui as a culinary artist. He was also in partnership with www.nevaehsoap.com a company founded in memory of his brother Brett who died in a car accident September 25th, 2002.. He cherished his friends, family, music, travel, & nature. He loved people andhad many good friends. He was our son, our brother and our best friend. He will be loved always and part of our souls forever.

We will be having a Celebration of his Life at his mom's house on

Sunday, June 20th @ 2:00, 12400 Grand River Dr., Lowell. Bring an

instrument if you'd like to play around the fire pit.

He is survived by his mom & stepfather, Jill & John Wenger, his brother Jerry, sister Corrina, stepbrother Brandon Wagner, dad & stepmother, Bill & Liz Taylor, his grandparents, plenty of aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends. We will miss him more than words can tell.

Shine on Brandon! 8/23/83 to 6/11/04
